I immediately subscribed and liked when i clicked on the video and didnt have to sit for 2-3 minutes listening to an “intro”. Intros only started being a thing when youtube decided 10 minutes was the right length for a video, other than that intros are pointless . So refreshing to see someone make a tutorial video with the learner in mind, and not their pockets. Good work
This is amazing! Thanks. I just purchased Vochlea Dubler and can't wait to try it out with FL Studio 21 tomorrow morning. This video saved me so much time. I really wish people would remove their old FL Studio content from the internet. Even though it may still apply to the newer versions, there's a lot of examples that don't. They just confuse people.
Thank you. There are other options, you can turn on the loop-in mode in the record mode, every time it reaches the end of the record, it will automatically go to the next line of the playlist and record again. Also, by cutting it, the envelope gain of each part can be changed separately
I go to Project General Settings before I record anything and create a session folder for all of my audio takes to be routed to. Otherwise it’ll go into some random default folder in the Image Line folder I noticed.
This needs to be fixed and made more like other DAWs such as Avid Pro Tools and Logic. Also, when recording vocals, they shouldn't stack up like playlists.
Thank you!!! I appreciate your straight to the point and concise explanation. You are outstanding and I respect the heck out of you for respecting everyone's time!
Thank you SO MUCH! I needed this, haven’t been able to afford going to the studio anymore without a job… so THIS helps me tons in still being able to make music
For those that are having issues with selecting their mic Input, instead of selecting your mic in the Audio settings select "FL Studio ASIO". Then a tab will pop up that says "Show ASIO panel". Select your input mic in there!
I followed this tutorial for a track I'm working on and I recorded a nice little snippet and used a compressor, pitch up plugin, and bitcrusher to make it sound exactly how I wanted and then I started slicing it up and adding it to my track but there was a weird clipping issue that wouldn't go away. It would just clip at completely random times. Then, for some reason, the kick channel rerouted to the record channel and both were going through the plugin chain and the kick was too loud and I could barely hear the vocals and I tried for like half an hour to figure out what was wrong, I even reset the kick channel and replaced it and reset the routings and plugins on all of the affected mix channels, and even just straight up stopped using the problematic ones, but even though that fixed the routing issue, the clipping was still there, so I ended up reverting it to the version from before I started working on the vocals but the clipping issue was still there so now I think FL studio is just broken. And now I have to mow the lawn. I'm not having a fun afternoon.
For me there is a problem, when I try to change the input selection it just doesn't work. The only option I have is "None" and it's already selected. This is preventing me from recording vocals, please help me
great advice , might sound silly but i get the input side of things as my mic is being picked up but how do i get my head swet as output so i can hear the track as i’m singing
hey bro nice video but one thing i dont get and didnt see im trying to learn by the way anyway what i saw in another video that you keep not showing in 2 of the videos i watch is an actual beat and how to record and record process are we suppose to record onto 1 layer or keep recording down like 30 layers with different recordings all over i know i mean i think i know were suppose to say one sentence at a time but im just guessing
@@OriginalAsono I'm confident that Reaper's audio engine quality is better than FL Studio, but I love FL's look and lifetime updates! Still needs improvements in the audio recording area though. It's as if IL is reverse engineering how to do it 😅

Man, this tutorial is so informative. just loved all the inputs u gave, thanks bro, yes u added one more subscriber.
Short, straight to the point, no time wasting, understandable. Deserves a like and sub for sure!
When I read input selection it says none. I’m new to this but would a headphone jack headset work or would I need an actual microphone?
i use my headphone to record so i guess it should work
