I’ve been watching all your videos. This one really has helped me to understand tools. I purchased some cheap tools on eBay and you’re right I’ll be buying twice. Thank You for making these great videos.

Hi, great video. I did not see any glue/pulling tools, any reason? I'm a DIY guy and am interested in learning more about PDR mainly to learn how to repair my own cars and perhaps getting training for part time work in future but the thing about the ebay/amazon PDR tools is that I can buy a large kit for the same price as one name brand tool and they (in theory) work the metal the same way as the name brand tools. Yes, I'm sure the name brand tools will wear better and last longer but the're 5 to 10 times the cost. For someone who is starting PDR is there a set of budget ebay PDR tools you'd recommend?
It will explain the memory of different types of metals after they are pressed and formed. The panels stress points are weaker today compared ta the older lower strength steel panels. Keeps ya in business thats for sure
Man I know this video is a few years back, so I hope you see this, I used to be a floor installer, a family trade, father was the first, then uncles, cousins, and then myself, I was the donkey carrying the heavy weight for the first four years, my father was like your stepfather, but it was my uncle who changed my mind in doing this trade, I started in California with them and then we moved to Houston in 96, that where shortly after a few years I became a main installer and got jobs I controlled for the next 15 years and I was good, companys would say I was better then my dad but I never let them finish saying that sentence, but i later got married and after my two kids the economy fell and before i worked off the company's license as a subcontractor but at the end of the year I got 1099 and payed taxes every year even with my kids, flooring was dead and nothing but shark infested waters doing each others in so I retired from it all together, and then I felt like a teenager in high school looking for a job, but didn't know what I wanted to do and had no experience in anything but flooring, well I'm a stay at home dad, and it's hard, I do maintenance, handyman jobs, self-employed and now the kids are getting older I want to go out there get a career doing something that I like and can be great at independently, I done body repairs before learning from older friends that did it oldschool and I know pdr is the new way and I have all the time in the world now, I just don't know who I can find to get good training from, I now live in California in Victorville could you recommend somebody, if you know someone down here, I would appreciate any feedback, thank you.
