- PDR tool Questions flood my inbox daily. So much so that I've decided to make a complete PDR Tool Guide. This is the first of MANY that I'm going to put together from This one, and absolute beginner guide, all the way to advanced Tool necessities.
www.RealWorldPDR.com will have the rest of these tutorials, all about what PDR tools you should buy to advance your Journey.
Speaking of Journey, I know I misspelled that word in the last video, and im sooooooorrry half the time I'm about 4 Drinks in before I start adding the titles to these things. like right now! Кино
Valuable information and Straight forward. Everything stated, I agree 100 with Jim! Great video
Very good advice Jim ! I always enjoy your videos 👍
Awesome info. I signed up for RWPDR last weekend. What a wealth of information! Best $65 a month I've ever spent, a bargain at twice the price. Can't wait for the one on one seminars at your shop!
Awesome! We are getting it pulled together slowly but surely!
Thank you so much for your video, I emailed you that I wanted to start your course . I had asked what tools to buy ...this answers it all I'm gonna buy these things right away
Humble student Taking notes from the master
Jim. Very true video. What’s it matter if you have all the cool tools and you can’t even push all types of dents. Thanks Jim
I'm new to this PDR ,you gave me a lot of info and guidance, thank you,i subcribed and like .
Groovy starter kit learned stuff I didn't know!!
Sound advice for sure... Repetitions are the most important “tools” in the beginning 😉
Fabulous video bro just what I was looking for I going to take one month subscription to see if I can learn faster an the right way see you bro an great job 👍maistro
Nice way to jump start tools for the beginner, plus needs to watch and sign-up for your online training. Need practice panels and with those tools press away.
Get the blehm flat shaved set. I’ve had mine for 9 years and I use them every single day 🔥
I have no job and I can't afford the tools. They are very expensive here in Portugal but one day I will be able to get them and I will follow your steps and advises thanks for the lessons God bless you

More
even though this was a free video, I would have liked to see this in the PDR 101 course. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for the suggestion. That’s an oversight I can’t believe I made
It is in the content on Pdr monthly, but it would be better for you guys to get an idea before moving on.
Great video Jim!
Try 99% alchohol, it seems exponentially faster
Hi! Can I finish small dent with just one bullet tip?? Or I need something sharper at the end? I'm learning👍
Anyway to please post a link to the rod you showed
Hey had a few questions...just finished the 101 course on your website. One of the lessons deals with a slide hammer wich do you recommend I buy? Also when covid 19 blows over will you guys have in person classes or work shops? I'm in NY but I'll travel for a chance to learn hands on.
Last question can glue tabs be reused?
Just got your email! Sorry I didn’t see it before I’ll respond to that tomorrow AM. If not hit me up again!
Thanks.
is this tools for pdr you listed is available here in Queensland Australia? thanks sir
3 questions about the light recommend appreciate your time thank you
comes in 14" or 20" which one would be better
also the light come in options from cool white and warm white and a mixture of both
Last question about light I promise lol how many strips 3 ,4 , 5 ,9 ? I'm so confused
Hahaha don’t stress revolutionpdrtools.com
I’ve got my favorites on there. Get what you budget allows. I prefer cool middles warm outsides
@@RealWorldPDRTraining thank for the reply! 🙂 I'll check it out
Damn great video and a voice that's awesome, I ain't no gay dude but I can hear your voice loud and clear. The content of the video is 100
Lol thanks Man! Ya know, just like everyone I’ve always hated my voice. It still blows my mind that people like it 🤣. If you watch some of the early content you can tell I was trying to hide my voice lol
Nice job JIM ! What actually do you recommend for glue in Florida
Hawg is good stuff
@@RealWorldPDRTraining been dealing with a sick mother. The next week I'm signing up for sure I can't wait
I, actually took a dent out with a shovel handle 😜
1/2" diameter 38+" long
what kind of metal is used
Steel
Any chance of confirming the part number of that rod (#4), the one on their website looks a LOT sharper of a point.
Very well may be. That was an older tool. I’ll update it if I find out otherwise.
Any half inch tool about that long will work.
I am having the same issue finding the one
I bought my rod from elimadent 1/2 36in length bullet tip at a 45
Wow, you can never have too many tools.
Hi, l am interested in training, where to start?
Slide hammer?
Helo. Please let me know where your shop is.iam in los angeles ca. Yucaipa city.i want to get trained for pdr.are u local thanks in advance. 🙏
What about a blending hammer.
That can be picked up later
It’s so crazy the tools are literally metal rods bent in certain places, yet they charge hundreds of dollars?I think I’m gonna make my own. It’s kind of like a shirt versus a polo shirt you can pay $125 for the polo I guess if you want. (Or some cheesy yeezys Yes I understand these are professional tools so I get it if you’re making tons of money you might as well get something that will last you.
Lol dude we all used to make our own tools. That’s perfectly ok! Do it
@@RealWorldPDRTraining hahaha thanks I’ve been thinking about it for a while I’m glad I found your videos there great!
@@kyplummer3657 glad you like. But for real, I keep some handmade tools I made in the beginning of my career around. Don’t use them, but it’s nice to look back and remember. So don’t be shy dig in! We used torsion bars from trunks a lot (back when that was a thing). They aren’t ideal but the freakin work if you’ve got a torch and a grinder.
@@RealWorldPDRTraining does the type of metal matter much?
@@RealWorldPDRTraining I was looking for things to use and I came across some arrow head practice tips that I think will work good for some applications and I can dress the tips up in different ways even change them out I don’t know if it’s going to work yet.
What part of Indiana are you?
We are in Lafayette
Keco has the mini lifter and tabs for 200
Really when we priced them out it was 130 for the lifter and 30 for the tabs?
@@RealWorldPDRTraining they are 200 you get the precision base and 24 tabs
@@RealWorldPDRTraining tried to screen shot and post but don't know how
Hell even better.
Man those things are a bargain.
Pick me for the training!!!!!!!!!
#effaverage!!
Lol try getting isopropyl alcohol these days 😋
Where in Indiana are you?
My shop is located in Lafayette
Massa
91% is terribly hard to find these days
Then I read „tools under 1000 dollars“ I am out. 😂
Should we do a more expensive one?
@@RealWorldPDRTraining nope mate. Most them you covered are better and cheaper alternatives for pricey products. Better would be see good/high quality tools for less money for starters. I would buy some of them to practice on my cars. And maybe if I will be able to do fix dents properly I would buy other tools.
You could make all these tools by hand, if you were good with tools.
I can’t stop saying the F word!!!!
