- This is our 2023 project, a 1976 BMW 2002! This BMW is getting a rebuilt 2.0 and tons of chassis upgrades! We are shaving the engine bay for a cleaner look and patching rust. Installing Ireland Engineering suspension. Also Danjer extended control arms. This car is going to handle amazing when we get it on the track.
Once this car is road worthy we will be driving it from New Mexico to Arkansas for the biggest 2002 meet in the states. Stay tune the car is going to be a big one!

In '76 the speed limit was 55, making the 4 speed feasible. I don't know about Arkansas, but today in Montana the speed limit is 80. Something to consider when deciding not to put a 5 speed in it. That m10 is gonna be working really hard at today's speeds.
True fully I have been cruising this car at 75-80 with no issues. I do agree back then the speed limit was less and that’s what it was made for. But the m10 just hummed along at 75. Also I won’t be doing long hauls in it only once or twice.
Hell yeah dude! Stoked to see this thing getting some love. It’s a great ‘02
Thanks. It’s been to long not driving it. Also thanks for watching!
Very nice please show us all your work, I’m going to be doing the same thing to my 02.
Awesome good luck with your project. We will be sure to film and post has much as we can.
Excited to see this one through. Make sure is ready for the next RiG cars and coffee 😉
