I'm like 1,5 minutes into the video and gotta say I agree with both hands with what was written in comments for previous videos already. The quality of videos is getting better and better with every one of them. Visual quality is epic, shots by Adrian, the transitions between them, music - it's even hard to pick on something to be honest. Really happy to see what you guys are able to come up with, having Adrian on board was a great decision. These are the changes nobody was asking for but now it seems everybody needed them ;) Hope this will bring not only appreciation from the current audience, but also even better results of the chanel!
I don't understand why people get all mad over this, if the owners gets enjoyment out of it like this I see no point in complaining. And if there is one thing for sure then it is that the owner is enjoying it, rarely have I seen someone be so passionate about their own car.
thats a real electric dream car, i dont want an electric car with huge screens and assists and gadgets etc... an electric car to enjoy driving (and with a good look for once)
my absolute dream would be an electrified 1978 Opel Commodore... I absolutely agree... I don´t need those clinical interiors with a few tablets in them... :)
This guy is so legit and cool. Can’t wait to see more content from him. Awesome vid u guys. My Polish brother definitely earning his keep. Vids are awesome and first notification on everyday schedule
Really nice build! I wanna see bmw build this one in mass production! Without screens and power steering. Just like you built it. That would be so great.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Like Misha, I also had a huge smile on my face. I just loved the fact that you guys just randomly met and it lead to this. The owner of that beauty is such a cool guy. Really enjoyed him being on the channel. What he has built does speak to me personally. I may not be a fan of modern electric cars but this is something I can get behind. Genuinely this was a really good video. I am glad you guys met and I hope you can meet up again in the future. Wishing him best of luck with his endeavours.
I think this video tops the one with Joakim in regards to how much Misha smiles. And who can blame him, what a beautiful car this is. Yes, we should keep some with ICE and put them in a museum, but please also electrify so they can be properly driven and seen by the world. What a great conversion with analog dials, manual windows, no power steering, just wow! 👌🏻❤️
This had me smiling too. Well done Nicholas for keeping the spirit of the car at the forefront of the driving experience and good luck with future projects. Greg 😊🇬🇧🚘
That is fantastic conversion! Well done! And fact that’s all tuv approved and registered is amazing ! This must have been difficult process- well done! Hope to see more of these e10 converted to ev. Good luck!
so many cool things, the lens, defiantly the car, the lap, Nicolas n his passion for the BMW2002E n Mishas smile n comments. the modern retro feelings/looks u get from this car will attract people to it n to want one, very cool. maybe Nicolas can do some of the 70s Porsches as well in time.
I'm so glad to see you excited about this little car, because I'm excited by it too, I've got to many cars, but the 2002 has always been a favourite, with 4 of them in my collection, just heaps of smiles per mile, Rj in Oz
i really like how he shows that those haters he meets are just people that don't even try to get a grasp of his idea and understand it, great video as always.
The car seems very well sorted and rides like a sporty modern car. First thing I noticed on the lap was how light and airy it was insde. A great concept.👌
Wouw, wat een mooi project, Nicolas heeft het begrepen wat nodig is voor de ombouw naar EV. Het zou een leuk vergelijk zijn met de rode 2002 van Carlo.
This car is such a cool concept. I don't know why but I was always more excited by the old cars. And if for some reason the oldtimer cars get banned, I would be perfectly happy to drive a car with the similar concept behind it. When I saw it in the yesterday's video I was so excited to see it and even more so for today's video to get a more in-depth view of the car. LOVE IT!
Wow! What a beautiful car! Loved the concept, the spirit, the soul. A car should be a joyful experience. Appreciate the past, take its legacy to the future generations. Way to go bavarian econs!!
Nicholas + misha = wholesome I love this. I hope Nicholas achieves his goal he seems like suuuuuch an awesome dude. 😭💪🏼. More misha and Nicholas videos plz.
Loved the video. I would say, the standard or essence of driving is in commanding a vessel on tires using a steering wheel. Everything else is for the enjoyment of speed, g-force, grip, comfort, sound, ect. The engine is just one of those ever-changing components for one's enjoyment.
Misha , great video- again! And i can only agree to what you said, you cannot fake a smile and man yeah i was smiling nearly the whole video along just by watching it!
I'm so glad you got the editing on point. Absolutely love your videos. And information you give about cars and track info. Best RUclips channel and content. Keep up the great work👌
So nice to watch this. When I finished university, I bought a six year old BMW 2002 and drove it 6000 km across Canada from Halifax to Vancouver. What a wonderful car & trip, cruising for days at 100-130 kmh on two lane highways. Unfortunately it got eaten alive by rust and in another two years it was pretty much undrivable. But still, great memories. Can’t say I wouldn’t miss the sound of the engine and the shifting of course. :-)
As an owner of the 2002's successor car, a '76 BMW2500 (which I owned in the late 80's), I am deeply touched by this car and the video. The car's incredible.
This bmw is the toystory equivalent of the custom made doll-head with spider legs that scares the crap out of the characters... it is beautiful in its own twisted way 🤣
Nice seeing other people use the 58mm Helios lens. While it is not perfectly sharp it has such a unique and beautiful picture style with a "swirly" bokeh. I love this thing! Oh, and the car is also not bad ;-)
I have always enjoyed your videos Micha, but this one is a breath of fresh air. I really like the concept of this car, and that you were able to 'transmit' your enthousiasm about it. I also enjoy the videos with less powerful cars, it goes to show that you can enjoy the ring with less than 200 horsepower. Makes me curious to see what my 66 horsepower daily driver can do on the ring 😉
This should be something able to be made in all old cars (mantain the legends alive)... We should be able to see much more old legends around in our days.
Absolutely love his passion for cars and for the future of mobility also having an eye to the past! Amazing project, cannot wait to see how it develops!
The EV swap I think that's going to be interesting will be the Toyota EV manual transmission. I think that will make these EV swaps in spirit very much alive.
Misha, I love what you have done here. Brilliant! I have a 1974 Tii which I have a Tesla small Model S rear motor in it with 12 Tesla Model S modules. I’m tying to work out the motor controller. I also am trying to keep as original as possible. I live how you have done the instruments.
24:16 what was the story behind the FLAGS drawn on that infamous KARUSSELL turn? =poland, japan, thailand, austria, finland, belgium, england, sweden, netherland, new zealand, germany, france, italy, spain, portugal= hmm..
ok, have watched this a few times now. first, one of the best videos on the channel, excellent work. second, I'm really torn still. what you said about electric cars being vacuum cleaners, I'm that guy. I absolutely hate them. They are so sterile they make me sick. however, this may change my opinion. if I had the choice of an 02 or a Tesla, there is no question that I'd drive the 02. (and yes, I have driven an electric car and it was a soulless experience.) this guy has passion and vision, I really hope he makes a ton of money, and saves a lot of classics from the crusher. brilliant, but give me one with a proper engine 😋
And who says that that car was soulless just because it was electric? There are many gas powered soulless cars. Just because the electric cars you know/driven are soulless doesn't mean they're all soulless. There's so much more to a car than just what's under the bonnet. They feel soulless because most companies are making soulless cars that happen to be electric, not because they're electric.
I think that’s a great idea. I mean of course it’s not as emotional as the original engine. That being said I find it awesome that this gives us the possibility to make old cars more driveable therefore you see them more often in the streets. I mean they won’t take base cars that are in perfect condition. All in all it’s seems like a win win.
Well done Nicolas, you have kept something alive - the purists can complain as hard as they want, this type of innovation is what will keep car guys happy - the ICE, wherever it goes is not completely gone (yet). I also smiled so much in this video Misha - keep well !
Very nice! I would definitely count myself into the petrol head group. Having driven some electric cars already, they are all lacking the emotion, no matter how powerful it is. If this thing can bring it back, I am in! If the price is somewhat reasonable I might seriously consider this as a car for the collection! Thanks for introducing, will follow it closely;)
IMO, part of the character that has been retained is the integration of the electrical information into the gauges, as well as, the standard ignition and hand brake. Nicely done.
Awesome project! Congrats to the owner A company here in Brazil, #fueltechelectricpower is doing similar conversions to Beetles and other VW models. #fueltech also holds the record for fastest C8 corvette in the US
Wow. I've only got as far as the intro and I am thinking this is a clever lad. Even without the car mods, he has to speak at least three languages, (Bavarian, German - if he working for BMW in Germany - and obviously English). To be accepted by BMW from half way across the world is a big deal in itself. Actually, I am smiling when I say that because my whole working life was at Ford's Research & Engineering Centre (later called Product Development, and now bizarrely IMO, Campus) at Dunton in Essex UK. We had lots of engineers come over from Ford's German Product Development site, and they were all clever, and all called themselves Doctor. OK, back to the lap. 😁
For all the questions about Nicolas his seatbelt: the passenger seat was equipped with old-school 2 point "lap" belt system.
So modern day speed with old school safety.
Big Brain on that guy honestly.
@@engared for people who want old school feeling. Also no ABS/TC/Power Steering etc. Options. Not mandatory.
@@mgcharoudin He's a brave man. Braver than I.
@@engared its got the same "power" as it left the factory......
Phuuh 😆😆

I totally agree with you, screen and assists are so overrated!
I can't say I'm too interested in electric cars in general, but this is cool. I LOVE the artwork on the outside!
I honestly dig it! And seeing the owners smile when you talk about the car is so wholesome lol
This was pure bliss! Even more than I anticipated! A great owner also! The analog power dial was super satisfying. What a great conversion!

Its a good thing that somebody do that love the dream off that man ,and good driving Misha.💯💯
Just two dudes smiling from start to finish, what an amazing project. Loved watching this video!
As a 2002 owner,I approve
One can hardly say whose face was happier during the lap. Both Misha and Nicolas were literally shining.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Like Misha, I also had a huge smile on my face. I just loved the fact that you guys just randomly met and it lead to this. Nothing better than seeing passionate people share what they love :)
What a fantastic car!!! I wish I could afford to own something like this!
I think this video tops the one with Joakim in regards to how much Misha smiles. And who can blame him, what a beautiful car this is. Would have happily waited months for this. Pleasant surprise after a few minutes! Thank you.
And it was brilliant. File it under one of the Misha classics. Pun intended.

2002 Love!!!! Thanks for the comment!
That thing is just straight cool, it has that “something” that just makes you stare at it.
You have set the standard very high for this season already!
What an amazing build :)
i really like how he shows that those haters he meets are just people that don't even try to get a grasp of his idea and understand it, great video as always.
serious 218i replacement candidate
that guy is a legend, thanks misha for the awesome videos
Salve Misha,
The BMW is amazing. Good Video 👌
thank's for this and good evening ✌️😎
I'm just thinking of a Tesla swapped Porsche 944 and drooling. What a cool concept! Great way to preserve classics.
The car seems very well sorted and rides like a sporty modern car. First thing I noticed on the lap was how light and airy it was insde. A great concept.👌

Ultra quiet laps are awesome to watch

I love the old 2002. This does in no way detract from the cars status as a symbol. It's an awesome little car. Well done!!
I'll take one!! :)
... love the lens too
Wow! What a beautiful car! Loved the concept, the spirit, the soul. A car should be a joyful experience. Appreciate the past, take its legacy to the future generations. Way to go bavarian econs!!
insane car. you can feel the passion driving this guy... loved every second of the vid. thank you
Nicholas + misha = wholesome I love this. I hope Nicholas achieves his goal he seems like suuuuuch an awesome dude. 😭💪🏼. More misha and Nicholas videos plz.
I'm happy guys like this exist. Appreciating the car it once was and not just slamming the same Tesla drivetrain with way too much power in everything
Loved the video. I would say, the standard or essence of driving is in commanding a vessel on tires using a steering wheel. Everything else is for the enjoyment of speed, g-force, grip, comfort, sound, ect. The engine is just one of those ever-changing components for one's enjoyment.
Old, old-timers would say there's nothing like the sound of a big "hissss" and scorching steam in your face when barreling down the track
He has a great grasp of what the car is and its preservation. Brilliant vid. Great content.
What an interesting and cool guy! Very impressive 👏 👍👍
I love the green G Shock
Totally love his idea and the car! Car fans and enthusiasm won't go away. It has evolved as most things do. Great vid and shots ;)
Viva Colombia !!!! So amazing to see my Colombian people doing such blowing mind things like this piece of art.
Misha , great video- again! And i can only agree to what you said, you cannot fake a smile and man yeah i was smiling nearly the whole video along just by watching it!
wild
I'm so glad you got the editing on point. Absolutely love your videos. And information you give about cars and track info. Best RUclips channel and content. Keep up the great work👌
What a wonderful car and a great guy Nicolas!
I knew that was a Helios 44M! The bokeh in that lens is pure bliss.
So nice to watch this. When I finished university, I bought a six year old BMW 2002 and drove it 6000 km across Canada from Halifax to Vancouver. I see it exactly like him, these cars deserve to be driven
Very cool - I loved the show and tell with the camera and the old lens too!
What a great project and video. Thank you Misha

Well I guess because I drive a carburated 02 as a Ring Tool and a Prius as a daily this could be the perfect mix & match ...
damn you go 8 to 80

I love it. The B roll is spectacular man!
So far this channel's best video.
What killed me in yesterday video, was how fast the 2002 took from standing start, as it rocketed up the road.
he did a Easy Lap. Unbelievable, great lap
Well done Nicolas, you have kept something alive - the purists can complain as hard as they want, this type of innovation is what will keep car guys happy - the ICE, wherever it goes is not completely gone (yet).
I also smiled so much in this video Misha - keep well !
Very analog right down to the ol' Russian lens and the squeaky window handle 😁
I'm lovin' it 😃. Great shout out for this build 👍
Thank you for the awesome video Misha
Misha THANK YOU!
YES, i've been waiting for this since yesterday :D
One million subs at the end of the year? Proper stuff this.
Very nice! I would definitely count myself into the petrol head group. Having driven some electric cars already, they are all lacking the emotion, no matter how powerful it is. What a cool bmw👌🏼 Also any modern car modded to have steering feel of the past days would be a blast
Despite roaring is nicer than singing this is an amazing concept and project!
Love it! Cool video 👍🏻
I somehow expected a front splitter that formerly said „turbo“ but converted into „fiddled“. The letters mirrored, of course . Cool car
Haters gonna hate, people like us is going to interested to watch this amazing lap! Big thumbs up to Nicholas too, such a smart idea!
IMO, part of the character that has been retained is the integration of the electrical information into the gauges, as well as, the standard ignition and hand brake. Nicely done.
Still think the future is scary. I will keep my current (ICE) cars alive for ever and ever.
oh man i want one. i wonder if i could import into the states
Please use this Lense more often. The image is amazing… I like the soft look
Wow, really cool Car and an a nice and funny Video. Thumbs up !
This dude has the most contagious smile in the world! haha
Awesome project! Congrats to the owner

OK, back to the lap. 😁
Great video Misha good work BMW
Fantastic video mate!
Wow, what a nice guy, i love his passion!
I personally love EV swapped classic, because you have modern technology in epicly beauty shell.
I’m not usually a fan of electric but that is fantastic!
Very cool, thanks Misha!
I love it the video today is very fast bmw 2002 e nice video
Great idea to keep old cars alive under future regulations!
