Hi! Just got back into bodyboarding after ages. 5'9 and about 172 lbs riding in temperate to warm waters. Started on a 43" PP. Should I look into something a tad smaller for my next board? Thanks and great video as always!
Hey legend! Hoping either you or someone can suggest a perfect board for me. I'm 80kg , 40yr old. I don't catch big waves but i love standing up on my board and slidding on the sand. Is there a board that is good for both?
If I wanted to get one from you guys at 6'2 240 lbs what do you suggest. As far as location I would be at the beaches in San Diego a majority of the time.? Thanks for the cool videos
Hey, you'd be looking at something in the 44" size range. Give Jay and the team at ebodyboarding.com a shout and they will be able to help you with a higher volume board.
Hi, I just bought a bodyboard at my local surf shop, from Plymouth,as a beginner I asked for recommendation. I'm 5ft,54kg, with slightly shorter legs. The guy gave me 42' as it will be enough for me. Iv been reading about sizing when I got home. I think the board is too big for me 😔 what do you think the perfect size for me please?
If you're starting out you may find the extra volume beneficial but with those measurements you have mentioned, we'd put you on something around the 40.5" to 41" range. Hope this helps!
Hey, thanks for asking is. We would be looking to put you on a board in the 43" - 43.5" region. Let us know if you have any other questions, we're always happy to help.
Superb advice as always. Many thanks from the UK!

Good stuff! Yeah, the HV boards I have feel and perform exactly like my old boards did back in the 80's & 90's when I was 185 lbs dripping wet.
Right on!
Thanks for sharing Jay Reale! 🙌

Is Portugal warm water or cold?
Depending what time of the year you go, it can be both. Compared to the UK however, we always find it warmer.
@ thanks!

Not 100% sure without knowing your weight, but we're guessing you would be in around the 42" mark with your height.
I'm 6 ft, 180 lbs and ride a 41.5". Should I be looking to go for something longer?
Based on those details, we'd suggest you ride a 43" bodyboard 👌
