Thanks Jerry and James - people who throw trash out of the window ARE trash. The amount of McDonald's bags you see at the side of the road or in car parks in the UK. Horrible.
For real, I honestly don't get how some people can think that way where they think it's ok to just throw garbage everywhere... Parking assistant: Many many years ago I read the following tip in a humor book. Tip: to park perfectly in your garage hang a tennis ball on a string so it just touches the windshield in front of you when the car is perfectly positioned. Trick: go into your neighbor's garage and move his tennis ball 5' back.
In 1998 I gave my (now ex) GF an immersion cup heater similar to the one you're testing with two major differences. 1) Hers has a clip to keep the heating element in the center of the cup. 2) In addition to a 12v plugin it also came with a 120v adapter. In spite of being more than 20 years old it still works great. $8.99, well spent.
Every car has different dash with all kind of shapes and surfaces. Window is way more reliable mounting point. Not too mention magnet one cost more and usually too short to reach.
I have a 13" gooseneck style mount. It works great in my work truck, a Mack truck 18wheeler. Suction cup on top of the dash, the stabilizer mount is stuck to the vertical side of the dash right above the ac vent. It's very stable, and ac keeps phone cool.
thats exactly the use case i was thinking, it definitely fills a specific niche, and when you find a product that meets your oddball requirements like that, youre more likely to take the time to give it a positive review
I had something similar before too. I liked it because the suction part can attach much lower on the windshield instead of the center like they did it in this video. Attaching it lower lets you see more of the windshield.
The bamboo one not only doesn't take up a cup holder, but actually adds one. One of the main reasons (apart from insurance costs) that I chose a Honda Jazz, was the fact that there were like 6 cupholders in the front alone. Also, I could fit a tumble drier in the rear footwell because of how the seats folded.

About the Park Ranger: you have to make sure that your head is in the same position every time, because if you’re looking at it from a slightly different angle, the lines won’t match and your car will be in a different spot every time. And people of different heights would see the lines differently, too.
I love how you guys made it both look like the mic was plugged in but at the same time left the entire other end just stripped out, wires everywhere... As an audio engineer this made me chuckle a little bit.
I can see the Gooseneck being great for tractor-trailers and bigger vehicles where the windshield is farther away and you have nothing else to stick a holder to. Or a Huracan for example, the bottom of the windshield is a gooseneck away from you.
That immersion heater is basically a prison stinger lol You'd be surprised how useful they actually are. They boil water way faster then conventional gas/electric heat.
There’s a lot of homes in Latin America who use them to shower because they don’t have warm water. When i lived in México with my family for 2 years we had to use these during the winter. A lot of people would shower in extremely cold water and it’s sad. These are super handy
It looks similar but they work on different principles. Prison stingers work by having the electricity run through the water itself, this is a more standard metal resistance heater.
we had one of those laser parking assistants in the garage all you had to do was learn how far the laser should be on your vehicle and you where good to go... alternatively a popular solution is hang a tennis ball from a string in your garage and have it just press against your windshield then you pull in until you touch the tennis ball.
I did the tennis ball thing for a couple weeks but, I also work in my garage and I kept walking into it. 😂 Now, I have a laser range finder that changes color, like a traffic light.

I have used mounts with the same neck for years. You just mount it farther down on the windshield so it is more out of vision, and it ends up being a nice distance.
I've gone through so many car mounts, it's insane. Finally happy with a magnetic solution, even if it kills my wireless charging (though you could use an easy pop out case to avoid it. Niteize mobile phone products are awesome. A simple metal ball is installed anywhere you need your phone (for GPS, etc) and the receptacle on your phone allows you to position the angle in many directions on that ball. I generally don't push products, but they're awesome. The springy car phone mounts have caused injury in my car because they're so tight, they eventually give way and your phone springs into the air, catching someone's head, elbow or knee in a bad way.
I’ve got another brands version of the ace fast and I love it. The only downside with mine is that you have to put a metal plate on your phone case which prevents wireless charging from working, but that’s not a big deal for how well this mount works. Highly recommend. Mine is made by Aukey

Although I agree that a car trash can is extremely useful I've relied on just hanging a grocery bag off of the ash tray of my vehicle for over two decades now. It's easy to replace, you never have to wash the inside of it, and it can hold quite a bit of car trash. On the final pair of products.......I'm not surprised as to which one is the 5-star on Amazon. On the drink heaters: the immersion heater you have to deal with keeping it clean enough or like he said keep using the same cup. So you'd wash both on occasion or regularly. On the heating cup, it may violate my preference of "all dishes go in the dishwasher if possible". But the immersion heater probably isn't dishwasher safe either. The heating cup may be fine in that regard if the heating element can be removed and the rest thrown in the dishwasher.
I feel for this to be a true test. You should separate the two and have them test them independently. And then compare their results and have them explain.

Looks like a microtech 121-10, kind of hard to tell because we can only see the blade though
The blade looked too short to be a micro tech otf.
i NEED to know what pocket knife James had in this episode, it looked really nice
Same
Bro if you find out please lmk, I want one so bad
Someone mentioned it might be the microtech 121-10? So check that out maybe
@@mmmmm54321 looks like it could be a mini troodon.
Speaking as someone who bought a house with the garage laser already installed… it’s actually pretty awesome. I don’t have that exact model, mine is motion activated and has a little flood light about half the length of the garage stall so you can see when it’s dark. I aligned the laser so I know I’m pulled up when the laser crosses the vents on the dash. I can’t knock the laser
Currently dealing with Covid atm. Your channel makes me feel better. Love you guys
Y’all should do the best car movies list if y’all haven’t done one yet
They did one a few years ago for each decade, give it a watch
Love these Amazon reviews!

The outtakes of the reviews are even better!
RUclips is feeding James very well. Good on you man
I just travelled back in time. This curly water heater was a norm in Poland in the 70's. I'm smiling :)
The heating cup may be fine in that regard if the heating element can be removed and the rest thrown in the dishwasher.
literally immediately click on the video as soon as the notification comes up lmao
Ok editor the lack of “shiinnnnggg” sounds when James whips out the knife is disappointing.
I also didnt hear any wet mouth sounds, so im pretty disappointed.
I just want to know where he got it it from, I want to buy one.
They're so cute.
I feel for this to be a true test. You should separate the two and have them test them independently. And then compare their results and have them explain.
As You wrote in the Bible
I agree and disagree. I think that'd make the game more competitive but we would lose the back and forth on what makes the items good as they make their first impressions.
@@Loebane yeah but they are also influencing each other so what’s the point of keeping score for the both of them? The only reason there was a “winner” was because they both agreed they would choose different products so that there would be a “winner” I’m not mad or anything it’s just an idea
@@greengabe5 because they're just testing out the products for entertainment and adding in a little competition for fun.
@@gotworc but it’s not a true competition if you have one guy agree to lose so that the other can win.
Those heating elements for cups actually work. I have seen them used in Eastern Europe. They have been around for many years. I would've picked that one.
2:04 this is how aircraft land on US aircraft carriers lol. that method makes a fantastic glideslope indicator to tell you if you are on the best approach, too low, or too high. doesn't take any power and works in any weather conditions and never needs to be calibrated after its set up
Jeremiah, how tall are you sir? Dunking is an impressive feat. I’m 6’2 and my old knees can’t handle all that any more
That image at 1:15 xD
That knife is by far the sickest item I’ve seen on this video. Haha Where do I buy one? Honestly i want it !
Look up California legal otfs and you’ll find that knife. Guessing it’s a microtech or maybe guardian tactical.
Looks like a Boker Plus USB OTF possibly
@@SeptopusPrime THIS ^^^ After comparing the video to pics I pretty sure it's a Boker.
What a duo, a modern day Abbott and Costello. So entertaining, always have me laughing 😂
I cracked up! "I wonder why we blew a fuse?" As he has a bunch of stuffed plugged in to one outlet!
8:56 I like how every Apple leather case is worn out like that. Truly high quality product worth every cents 10/10

Not everybody can afford to buy that car, lol.
Success comes to those who are too busy looking for it.
Working crazy hours for ten years won't get you one.
Being an investor, like real estate. You can make enough to buy one.
crypto market has been good news lately, many people in it are seeing a great return.
@Samuel Bryan I would recommend Nura Carvalho he is an expert trader and I trade with his platform.
@Samuel Bryan You can contact him on Facebook.
That mini stiletto knife that James has is sick. I wouldn't mind getting one of those for myself lol
To bad I can't find one anywhere
It's a mini otf switchblade but I have no idea what brand or model
Illegal to use or conceal carry in a few states
@@BirchPig I live in Southern California and as long as it's under 2" then it's legal here
I don’t know who edits these videos and who does the motion graphics, but I’m really impressed by this channel
my dad used to just hang a tennis ball from the ceiling. when it touches the windshield, ur parked.
4:24 the least funny joke that's made me laugh out loud 🤣
why does James just casually have a switch blade

When you explain the jokes it may seem silly, but not all audience is native speakers. I find it neat when I'm contextualized. Thank you for the Tacos explanation.
I love James' little Cali Legal OTF knife. I don't understand the length restriction but I still have a few smaller automatic knives, the fun of an auto but so small that even those who are terrified of everything won't be scared.
Amazon vs Joom vs Wish: Car product edition. Surprisingly, Amazon is worse...
1:10 (to skip sponser)
These two are the best combo on this Channel 🤣 just perfect chemistry
Guys!!!! Your Autozone ad popped up as a AN ACTUAL AD FROM RUclips and I was able to skip it! (Obviously did not) That’s so dope!!
Reading one star reviews can be pretty hilarious. You guys should read one or two out for each product.
13:08 OMG I HAVEN'T HEARD THAT TONE IN FOREVER! I might need my own $500 Jetta just for nostalgia's sake.
the long phone mount would work fantastic for cars with deep dashes, like a mini cooper, would probably be more stable not having 10 inches out in front of you either
I got a park ranger because my kids would always smack the tennis ball I had hanging from the ceiling! It works great and the kids don't destroy it!!
I genuinely used that heating element on the road as a long haul truck driver. It's exactly as dangerous as you think it is, but it makes a cup of noodles pretty well.
On the phone holder, it works perfectly for my 1978 Thunderbird with the dash big enough to share crop on!!
Big fan of that park ranger.. simple and effective..
