    I really like the way you take your hard top off. That makes it a one person job. I guess you could make a cradle to store it on and add casters so you can move it out of the way. Very good video.

    I like the rubber stoppers for the door pins. I'm surprised they don't get stuck in the hinge when your putting your doors on.

    Thanks for the video. I’m a new Jeep JL owner. I was wondering why not just put pins in place of bolts for a quick sway bar disconnect. You have just confirmed that I can. Not sure what a $180. kit offers over the pins other than a place to mount it out of the way after you pull the pins. Nothing zip ties won’t handle.

    You should put the door stop bolts in the storage case under the backseat , there is desingated holes for them . I can totally see those bolts falling out of the netting on the doors.

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  4 года назад +1

      Agreed, but I find the netting small enough to not allow them to fall out. The doors stay off for weeks at a time, dont move around much in my humble setup.

    Bravo-Zulu! Those are Very Cool Ideas for things to have for a Gladiator! I am in the Market for a Gladiator since my wife wants to steal my New 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with a Hemi but I told her that since we do NEED a Truck and she agrees and we live in Central Florida I think the Mojave Gladiator might be a FIT for us than the Rubicon since I am not going to ROCK Crawl but I will go down Sand trails and the Mojave does have the Rear Locker which is all we really need but Mojaves are not available right NOW which is a MAJOR Bummer because I been Stuck with my wife's Jeep Liberty!

    Your quick disconnects hack is pretty smart if you want to save money. Im on Guam and recently purchased an 05 TJ. I was going to purchase quick disconnects online until I watched your video. Can you point me to which hardware store on island you purchased them? Looking forward to a reply. Thanks for sharing🤙

    Cool ideas besides the swaybar disconnects... Really fast, the hole on the axle is going to become oval on the driver side! Those pins are indeed cheap but the damage done on the housing isn't. On the passenger side, it's not going to be an issue.

    • @c130aviator

      Yes, it's something to keep an eye on.

    I like the idea with the straps. How sketchy is it releasing the straps to bring the top down with wait? Seems it would free fall for a bit till the strap locked again.

    On the sway bar disconnect, would you consider a spring rather than just washers to eliminate the noise issue? My wife got the Wrangler Unlimited and she loves it. I am currently considering trading in my Z4 and Titan for the JT Mojave :). Great ideas bro, keep up the good work and thank you for your service.

    • @c130aviator

      That is a great idea, that could be a good way to eliminate chatter. I have since bought real disconnects from jks.

    Hey nice video. Doesn't the sway bar disconnect make clunking or rattling noise on the road when connected?

    • @c130aviator

    I like this idea for a quick disconnect. I looked into the JKS brand as well as others that require you to cut off that tab from the frame. Your solution in this video is just as good is it not? What were the draw backs to staying with it? Thanks.

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 года назад

      If you stay with the stock links and just use those cheap pins, its just constant noise and possible failure. With jks, its a quick install, safe, and proven. I love these jks parts.

    Perhaps you could tell the rest of us what rubber nut you are attaching where on a seat belt to accomplish what? And tuck what wire down there, down where and for what? Can’t even tell where in the Jeep you are? A rear seat belt a cargo area or what. No clue what you where doing there and you didn’t say either. Confused!
