    Truly enjoy the HELL out of mine! Best auxiliary piece of percussion equipment I’ve ever purchased. Highly recommend it for every level of talent!

    Have yet to get the effects to go through the PA using a 1/4” cable out of the module to a 1/4” cable into the mixer. Any suggestions?

    can u plug this audio out to PA speakers while playing ?

    It can also record audio and video into your iPhone/iPad using Yamaha's app. for covers. I wish Yamaha would add the training practice tools they include in their other modules like Groove Check and Rhythm Gate. Then it would be the perfect practice tool. Now if only someone would create a tool removes the drums from a song...

      Rhythm gate is a killer practice tool, nice thinking Jim!

    Hey I got my Yamaha EAD10 and I set it up today and I connected to my electric amplifier which I have for my last record drums that years ago is called Simmons but I was wondering if I bought PA speakers will it be better than amplifier because it still used and you still can hear the drums through the end of fire but it’s not feedback noise so I’m just wondering what PA speakers be way better? And I try to figure out how to make different sounds with it and I try plane knobs I can’t hear anything it’s just Mike’s but there’s different font buttons on the other side should I hurts a button and then after that then scroll screw I miss scroll through with a knob sorry if I can I get this right because I became blind around 2018 due to infection so I can’t see what I’m doing so when I play with knobs I can’t hear any different sound effects am I doing something wrong but the Mike’s works great the river if I can hear

    Hey guys! Thank you for this review. Could you please describe the backing tracks/metronome function little bit more? I would like to use this device live to play also our backing tracks. Would this be possible? If yes then this is my go to device. I read somewhere that it can only take 20s WAV files for samples but couldn't find anything regarding backing tracks itself and if it is even possible. If anyone of you knows the answer it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello can you hook this up to eight amplifier or PA speakers?

    • @drumdog
      @drumdog  4 года назад

      You can indeed hook this up to a PA system 🙂 We've seen a few drummers using these live for ease of setup and stage space!

    I use a Porter & Davies BC2. Is it the output from the bass drum trigger or the mic output that goes to the BC2 and did you use jack to XLR cables. Also, the supplied cable seems to be two stereo cables but I suspect the trigger can be mono. I'm assuming you used the mic in and mic through on the P&D and not the line in (which I don't think has a through)

      Hi David! As we were using a BC Gigster, and not a BC2, the Gigster only has a single jack/XLR combi input. We were running the left output channel of the EAD through the BC and then using the through for the recorded signal. Hope this helps!

    Is it perfect for a drums studio?

    • @drumdog
      @drumdog  4 года назад +1

      Practice studio yes, recording studio no. its great for recording demo parts and smaller gigs. For a really good recording sound you need mic up the kit. Thanks

      Evan Drumeo - of course you can; it is not a toy in the right hands. Need a respectable sounding kit and engineers ears to select the appropriate combination of effects and triggers. Remember, some of the greatest drum recordings in history have been done with with 3, 2 or even 1 mic... Enjoy! 😀

    Just out of interest , i use a porter and davies , did you use a splitter for the signal ?

    • @drumdog
      @drumdog  5 лет назад

      Hi Paul, great bits of kit aren't they! We went direct from the EAD mono output to the P&D and used the "through" output for audio, instead of splitting the signal pre P&D. Hope that helps!

    Greetings, any problem with the Emad and the trigger hitting on the foam or plastic surround ?

    • @drumdog
      @drumdog  5 лет назад

      Hi Tom! I can't recall exactly where the trigger sat relative to the Emad ring, but what I can say is that it didn't cause any issues at all, no adjustments or tweaks were needed to get the trigger responding nicely on the Emad.

    It would work if a use it like a camera mic? Or its just work with the yamaha rec n share app... Did u know that?

    Wrong. This is most useful Ina studio. Plugging directly into the board you simply can NOT get a better quality of sound imo.
