Simon can you use/ connect the Ead10 up to use on RUclips live stream? If so how do you do it
Do you take a feed from the main mixer to hear the rest of the band thru your mixer?
Why is there two sides on the ead? Can i trigger three toms plus by taking one side from the kick or just two?
What settings do you use for the trigger? I've had this for about two years bow and instill get "crosstalk" and I've tried maxing out the threshold and stuff.

What are you using to muffle your bass drum? It sounds pretty wide open
When I'm in practice mode using the REC n Share app with headphone, I can't hear the drums in the headphones, only the MP3 and the click. Is there a way to hear all of it?
Is the video recording backing track and drums only? I’d like to have that feature for one-man band set up and making videos on the fly.

Is posible used whit android sistem?
I’m having a problem with downloading songs from my iTunes into my Rec N Share, I get a message saying that the data cannot be selected. How can I get iTunes songs onto my Rec N Share?
Bobby - you need to purchase the songs from iTunes as if you’re streaming off Apple Music then they’re protected by an Apple Encryption

I've been using one for about 2 years for small clubs. Works great and very easy set-up. Eliminates the need for multiple mikes.

Does the EAD catch a lot of ride cymbal bleed (small kit, ride close in between Rack Tom and floor tom)?
Yes
It does but, I don't think it's really a problem. I play with a 20 and a 22 ride. I usually use the 20 on the hi hat side but today I put the 20 on the main ride stand, and next to it the 22 ride. The 22 (the was a bit too overpowering) is now
slightly away from the kit and it sounds awesome

It sucks, the latency is horrible.
HI can I use Roland RT-30 triggers with the EAD10?
Roland triggers have a higher output level than Yamaha ones, so it will work but perhaps not as accurately as a DT50 Yamaha trigger
I tried them, it was horrible. Unbelievable that Yamaha can’t put trigger profiles for the most popular triggers in the world.
Hey! I got a little problem with my EAD10, I bought it today. The Bass drum trigger does not really work. The proper cables are plugged in the right spot, it is set up on a normal wooden hoop. When I hit the hoop with a stick it plays the trigger sound COMPLETELY normally, but when I use the normal kick pedal there is no trigger input apparently, no matter how hard I hit it.
Does anybody know a solution for this? I also tried setting the gain higher and everything, but the "noise-line" then even only goes half way up, and it trigger about 1/3 of my kicks...

I think the problem is that the vibration from the kick doesnt reach the trigger sensor, no matter how hard I hit. But when I hit the rim with the stick it triggers.
@@MadMarco maybe check the module for trigger settings and maybe u can adjust the sensitivity or trigger response...I know this to b case w most triggered edrum kits... haven't had much time to mess with me ead10 yet...just plugged in and found sound that worked for me n went with it...also have wooden bass drum hoop..no trigger response problem
This is a problem with all of these units, the kick trigger sucks. You basically have to use an external trigger to get decent kick triggering.
If your bass drum has a metal hoop, use the rubber strip that came with EAD. Others who lost it have used a strip of cardboard.
I’m guessing the EAD 10 won’t work for a double bass setup?!

It’s unbelievable that Yamaha STILL hasn’t put out an updated version of this turd. It was a good entry, but it is so antiquated now, and the build quality was total shit. There needs to be a pro version of this.
I'm just glad to have one of these the stage setting makes it seem like you're really playing on a big stage
This thing just seems like a toy, not really for pro situations.
On the contrary, lots of pros are using this on the road either for small gigs or as a drum monitoring system. Thanks for watching!

El Estepario Siberiano recorded a ton of videos using the EAD10. He has a video explaining his process. Lately he's been more using sophisticated gear but his work with the EAD10 was great.
would it kill Yamaha if they put 3 or 4 more trigger inputs? Don't get me wrong Yamaha dose build quality products, but they are very STINGY!!!!!
Would it kill them to update this with a new professional version? How many years has version 1 been out now? 💩
