hey guys it's riley NOT from this video i wasn't even in the studio for this one!! i would never tell him in person but i think james did a great job hosting. i also think you can buy a fairly priced prebuilt PC from a Jawa Verified Seller at jawa.link/TLJuly24 , but that's neither here nor there; this is about james. what a cool guy
how dare you Riley

6:10 brain robots control by thousands of human brain cells seems like a crazy idea
I remember getting into it with some weirdo after the EU mandated USB-C as a standardized charging port. I supported the decision because USB-C is a good and true(if confusing) standard, and many companies were dragging their feet sticking with the old standard micro USB. And there's that one company that loved their proprietary non standard. The person who took issue with my position said this government mandate would stifle innovation(that old chestnut). But as there was all that foot dragging, progress was already stifled which was my point in the first place. I never did get a direct response over how 80gbps(now 120mbps in a single direction) and 240w power was inadequate for phones and non-gaming laptops to the point that EU's pro-consumer mandate could be viewed as stifling innovation. 80gbps will still be fast enough to be usable even if some proprietary technology comes along to provide ludicrous speed to consumer-grade products. And as the debate was about the USB-C connector, it may be capable of even more going forward.
Didn't know people were making Robobrains
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe if a Thunderbolt cable is pulling 240W then it will also double as a cat-warmer.
Imagine the amount of uhhh internet stuff I can download with that speed.
OwO but you won’t have enough storage space
That's already kind of problem on 1 single gigabit
Streaming dual 16K 1000Hz uuuh internet stuff for VR uuuh research will finally be a dream come true.
Now we only need to make that 2x16K 1000Hz VR headsets a reality. And the footage for it.
To be frank, if I had that when I was juuust a bit younger, I might've totally wasted my life. Good thing such thing still doesn't exist. And when it appears it will be super expensive for quite some time.
