- I'm getting sick of companies like Tesla and Amazon overhyping their products and delivering boring products. I aslo rant a bit about ai which is pretty typical of me. I just want more transparency in the tech industry. These events are becaumiong laughable, almost like they're meant to generate memes. The CyberCab, Robovan and Optimus Robots are just more examples of this.

FSD has been coming "next year" for the last 10 years, even the cyber trucks were eventually cost more than double the promise, the taxi will never cost 30k, it will be much much more expensive

that is a traditional wind muff, not pop filter. Wind muffs go over the microphone, pop filters go around, both have different uses.

Totally agree. since EVs adoption curve flattened, in order to justify market cap, Tesla keeps introducing plans for concepts of ideas, adding these "products", they want to reflect the are not a car company they are a growth company. But the event was a disappointment, the robot was fake, the cab was a poor design also staged (was expected at this point, specs, dates, cities etc), and the robovan is just stpd concept, products already exist that are better. In top of that, not been upfront with the fact that optimus was teleoperated is really bad.
Claiming the robots aren’t “real” because they are using a person to talk to it is a little misleading lol I mean the robot is real the ai is not 😭. I thought they put dudes in a robot costume for a second .

I never understood the Elon hate , people claim to care about the environment and hate on Tesla , yes lithium mining is harmful , it’s also significantly less harmful then the current means of getting energy (fossil fuels ) . Does Tesla and Elon promise products that don’t come around for years if at all yeah sometimes . Elon has solo handedly made the whole word actually want to switch to ev’s his affects on the environment are amazing and if you care about earth 🌍 you would appreciate Tesla and spacex .
