    You should cover the fog machine to match the terrain; castle, boulders, or a run down power plant for apocalypse themed. On nerdforge she covers computers with video game themes and many other items. 😊 Just found your channel & I'm inspired so much already!

    Wow, this is so cool! I have fun with my reptile fogger so far but this is next level! Is the low lying fog created with the real fog machine or the fogger? I love your box, I gonna buy the files as I got myself a 3 d printer this week! Super excited! :) Also, which model of table do you use in this video from the stagetop system? I followed the link and saw they got different designs. Love your channel!

      @Atmoseeker  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks mate! That's super exciting! Yeah the fogbox is mixing both fog machines, but you can use one or the other. The box cools and decelerates fog so it has a chance to get heavier.
      Mostly the idea is you can experiment with combinations or add stuff to the chamber like ice, etc.
      For the table in this video I'm just using the Lite rails with the castle legs. For the tiles I'm using square cake boards from the dollar store.

      @@Atmoseeker I keep coming back to this video :)) I have one more question, I am still trying to figure out which of the stl packages from Stagetop I need to get. You are using the rails from the light package right? I think I gotta get the deluxe package...so my question is, I see you have a translucent fence that locks into the rails to keep the fog in. Is the translucent border part of the stagetop system, 3 d printed or something else. Thanks for all your help, building a table like this is my next big project :)

    Can you show what the box looks like without the smoke machine, just the humidifier?
    Just not sure the fog will be dense enough for what I want to use it for but have a player who reacts to fog liquid.

    • @Atmoseeker
      @Atmoseeker  4 месяца назад

      Yeah combo-ing with a fog machine makes it thicker, but you can get a decent effect with just the humidifier.
      The fog box can help with distribution, but you might be able to get something decent with just the reptile fogger and some piping to cover a bigger area.
      If you have some raised walls, that'll collect the fog more to thicken it, and if you have any under lighting (check out the reptile fogger video on the channel)
      Under-lighting or little led's in the fog, will also boost the effect more. Basically the light is hitting those particles and making it more pronounced.

    Any opinions on Halloween foggers? I'm concerned with their particular fog fluid that it will leave a more sticky residue

    • @Atmoseeker
      @Atmoseeker  Год назад +1

      All depends on a few things, but typically I use a smoke machine with a water based fog fluid that can leave a bit of a greasy feel on the board. Usually I find it cleans up pretty easily or dries away especially if you protect and varnish your models.
      In this video I'm using a mix of that and the humidifier mist, so any residue is more water than fog fluid. When you see the thicker mist on the table, I mix a tiny bit from the smoke machine with the humidifier. The smoke machine gives it that thickness and silkiness.
      One thing I'd like to try is loading the fogbox with some dry ice because that typically doesn't leave any residue.

    • @Jackofl3lades
      @Jackofl3lades Год назад

      @@Atmoseeker Good to know. I'm curious if the fogger can handle water in it or if it can only take the fog fluid. I'm getting a 1000 watt for my yard this year but I feel like even with some tubing and pvc with holes to create some travel distance it may be way too strong.

    • @Atmoseeker
      @Atmoseeker  Год назад

      @@Jackofl3lades yeah 1000 might be a bit overkill for the tabletop 😅 I bought a dollar store fogger for $10 (I think that's about 250 watt) and that's plenty

    There's no ice or anything to chill the fog?

    • @Atmoseeker
      @Atmoseeker  Год назад

      Correct, it's ice-less. You can certainly experiment with adding ice to it, but the setup here uses the Reptile fogger for coolant.
      If you just use a normal smoke machine, the large chamber gives the fog the chance to cool and flow on its own.
