  • As New Zealand mourns the 50 victims who lost their lives in the Christchurch mosque shootings, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says new gun control laws will be enacted within ten days. A review of the country's security agencies will also take place. Outside the Al Noor mosque, students performed a traditional Maori haka to express their sorrow. Other commemorations for the victims have also been seen around the globe. In Pakistan, vigils and ceremonies were held across the country. In the Vatican, Pope Francis said that the attacks added to the conflicts afflicting humanity.

Mohammed Alshammari it’s called Haka. haka is a ceremonial dance or challenge in Māori New Zealand .It is a posture dance performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment. Although commonly associated with the traditional battle preparations of male warriors, haka have been performed by both men and women, and several varieties of the dance fulfil social functions within Māori culture.Haka are performed to welcome distinguished guests, or to acknowledge great achievements, occasions or funerals.

Can you see dead people and their families? Good. Spare a thought. Then you can go back to politics and religion later. Heck, think what you want. It's not the time for cheap brownie points for the cause though. So I'm sure you can keep it under your hat a while longer without comment on how and for what people should grieve.
Your comment is exactly what that Aussie terrorist wants. The 'what about this' reaction. Exactly the same after the London bombings when all the damned Islamists came out on the net with 'what about this' (blah blah Iraq, blah blah Palestine, blah blah Afghanistan, blah blah Bush, blah blah Blair). People dead through terrorism and its being used to platform a view or a cause knowingly or unknowingly. What terrorism is about. I don't agree with it.
I'm not saying that's your point btw. You have your reasons and free to think as you wish. I'm just challenging how you're thinking about these at this particular time.
