I have to share a story about my own hair! When I was in college, I spent a summer working with underprivileged children. Many of them were African American or of Hispanic descent. They were the sweetest little things you could ever imagine. At any rate, they were all just fascinated by my hair. At the time I had red, curly hair. It's still curly, but isn't red any more! They all wanted to touch my hair and feel it. At first, they just kind of stared at me, then one little boy worked up the courage to come ask me if he could feel my hair, so I happily said yes and then all of them wanted to come touch and feel my hair. It was really quite touching and they were just so sweet about it. The next summer I spent working with kids with Down's syndrome--talk about sweet kids!!!!! These were the happiest, sweetest kids you could ever imagine. I don't think I ever saw them when they weren't smiling and laughing. They loved my hair, too.
So interesting! The little girl that wanted to touch my hair was adorable. She just stroked my curls and gently ran her fingers through my hair. So sweet!

WE must have been in PV at the same time . My son's wedding was the 3rd of March at Casa Karma ! It was fabulous. Chefs cooked our meals for us while there and the service of the venue was amazing!! We had 85 people came with us for this. We too rented a 8 bedroom house , each with balconey looking over the beach and ocean!

I’m glad you had a good vacation and you took some time off, we all need to do that! It’s funny that you mention people recognizing you, because that is how I found you last year, as I was looking for info on Puerto Vallarta It’s amazing the amount of people you can reach on YT. Also, my mom and sister were there the week that it rained. They only had 2 or 3 days of sunshine the whole time they were there. I felt so bad for them because Puerto Vallarta is known for good weather!!

Wow I'm impressed that electricity restored after 5 hrs. Im in Johannesburg and have had no electricity for 24 hrs. Come visit Cape Town and Kruger National Park. The dollar is strong over here.

I’m definitely a fan and had seen this beautiful video when you first posted it on RUclips, and today I went back and watched it again. It’s just one of the most beautiful videos of you and your family during such a special time in your lives. Puerto Vallarta is also my favourite spot for a winter vacation and I’ve been travelling there every winter for the past 15 years, but haven’t been back since just before Covid came along, so I now just enjoy seeing the wonderful times you have on your vacation there and it takes me back to my “happy place”. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video….it made my day!

Hi Renee, bingeing your videos! PV has a special place in our hearts as we have visited there many times. So, I had to view your video. That beach/rock scene from your balcony looks like the one from our condo at Las Palmares . That's where we always stay. Haven't been to PV for couple of years due too moving to Arizona and getting settled. Not a surprise to hear about the US dollar to peso ratio. Cheers. Enjoying your channel.
