  • We are on a quest for a 4K60 camcorder/camera that can have superb video quality, but not overheat, give a good field of view, basically act like a standard camcorder, but for under $2,000. Can this one do it? Let's see!
    Thanks for watching!

The secret to good video quality is good lighting. Any camera with 1080 24p will do.

Except when you are moving around carrying the camera with you, then you get a bunch of blurry nonsense.
For some folks, 10fps would do for talking heads, I’m sure XD
I upload in 4K, so I prefer using footage and cameras that matches that, plus my lighting very rarely is ideal for whatever camera I’m using. It needs to be able to adapt to ME, not ME to IT.

You could use the greatest camera ever, if the lighting is bad, the footage will look bad. 4k is unnecessary, especially for RUclips where it all gets compressed to hell anyways.

@@liampugh It gets compressed "less" if the file itself uploaded is 4K, as RUclips allows way more bitrate to 4K videos than 1080p videos. You can test this yourself by uploading a 1080p video in original 1080p form, and then uploading the same video but just pixel quad doubled or whatever to make it essentially 4K upscaled, and watch them both. Note: With non-complex scenes, of course this is of very limited usefulness.
Basically the goal of the 4K60 saga is to obtain a usable camera/camcorder that can do 4K60 but doesn't have to be messed with much to capture decent footage at a wide range of light levels.
