Nice. That rod should come as a 8'6" 2 piece spinning rod. So should Steve Douglas's Monster rod. Sometimes the Catfishing industry just don't care about us guys who use ONLY spinning equipment. My ORIGINAL King Kat spinning rod combos are still my best rods. I do have (2) 9'GX2 Rods and (2) 7'6" Rippin Lips spinning rods. I just want to add another set of good quality rods to my arsenal.

I understand!! There’s a high demand for particular models whenever a new one comes out. I’ve recently purchased the pink edition. might invest in a 6’ XMH orange.
It's great to see you got a SlimeCat rod! I got my first one in July. I have a limited camo handle XMH and last week I got a regular MH. My only tip to give you is the part on the reel seat can get stuck sometimes when you go to take the reel off. Just use a towel and hammer and it will open. You're going to love it! Beautiful rod brother!😍👌

I just got this rod and I cut off the foam handle and wrapped it in black paracord. Looks good matched with a Penn
Ooooo, how did it turn out? I’ve handled a few rods with the cord handle but I think I prefer the foam or cork :)
