I have a 4 pack of these. Had a wedding couple using their phones to read wedding vows and got dropouts with the handhelds. Heard the same fluttering sound on the officiant’s headset. When they were making announcements without their phones it went away. Last week I used them at a comedy show and they sounded fine. Still using them in different venues in settings. I put them in a gator case and added a 1U panel to extend the antennas so we will see if that makes any difference.

Hey Stevie Ray! I got the noise out when I used at church, the videos I featured in the first couple minutes, but I haven’t used them for my own setup in a while. Scanning different frequencies and having the antenna unobstructed solves the issue. When By Faith Studio is complete I’ll have the wireless headset setup permanently for my videos 😁
Those seem to have a long range, but what about when the congregation is present? We have trouble with our shure mics at weddings and I think it is due to all of the people and/or phones.
that's a fair point friend! I haven't had as much experience with the mics, although I did some testing in a very large sanctuary and had little issues, but the newer mics(true diversity) are even better than this! THe PTM 22 was in the same large sanctuary(700+) at the sound booth in balcony and worked perfectly. I've used the PTM-10s in many different places with zero issues. Hope that helps and don't forget to use my referral link and discount code!
Human bodies actually absorb radio frequencies, so yes, when people are between the transmitter and reciever, you can have drop outs. Get the reciever antennas above the people, or even better, use directional paddle antennas on mic stands.
Yeah i think this is the Problem, i have a behringer cabled in ear monitoring Stick, with Cheap in ears from china i have Crazy noises, Themen i Upgrade to behringer and shure in ears an i have Great Quality

@@GabrielBelloMusic I get the weird vibration with both the headset and the lapel mic when paired up with the body pack. I do not a vibration with the handheld mic. There is noise floor white noise on all of them. I am directly connecting each XLR to my Zoom L12. I have tried disconnecting each channel and the hun is on 4 separate body packs and 4 separate headsets and lapels. I believe it could be interference but seems like some sort of ground hum.

I have, been using it at our church and it's been working great! The handhelds have held up very well for our singers and the times we've used the headset it was GREAT!
@@GabrielBelloMusic Thanks for the reply! I went ahead and ordered the PTU-7000 and it is as advertised! Great sound and very good quality cordless mics. I can't wait until our next rehearsal.

I know there's one band that uses Phenyx Pro mics and wireless IEMs, but I don't know how extensively they tour. I'd like to do a shoot out with the Phenyx Pro Wireless mics vs Sennheiser and Shure to compare quality
@@BobSeverns probably didn't help that I had 2 body packs, IEM pack, wireless mic and a 360 camera on me lol. I'd love to see a spectral picture of myself with different frequency imaging haha!
@@GabrielBelloMusic I was talking primarily about what I hear in the last scene starting about 10m30s. The phone is on the desk within 10 inches of the bodypacks. Would make sense for the intermittent nature of the problem as well if folks at church may have had phones near the bodypack in a pocket. Just a thought.
I am just familiar with the sound since I have had various other cheap audio cables and wireless mic receivers exhibit similar problems when my phones are in close proximity. It is not constant because it is affected more when the phone radios are using more power to lock onto a cell signal when you are moving or in a poor service area. If you are not moving much or the phone is more than a few feet from components, the rf interference is minimal/nonexistent.

Good to know, please let me know how the extend antenna works out!
That camera work is dope. How did u do that. I will be getting this system for my podcast

Might need to do a video on what your equipment your church uses for livestream so I can get some ideas haha :)
I did one a long time ago, check it out and I’ll do an updated one too!

Didn’t notice any verbaration from any of the 3, it may just be what you hear. Thanks for doing this!
Yep, I think it have been my in-ears, or my cell phone causing interference. @phenyxpro is making amazing stuff!!!
How is this system still working for you? Ever resolve the noise with the body packs (headset and lav?)

The xlr cables of the body packs are unshielded acting as antennas
Very possible, maybe even likely

My pleasure!
This awesome sound .. i have 2 set ptu7000a and 1 set ptu6000a so for live sound hmmm so very good respone.. cant see my video in utube 😂
They really are making absolutely fantastic equipment that is as good as gear twice the cost. Three cheers for Phenyx Pro!
Let me know how you think these mics sound!
Both The Mics and headset sound awesome outside as good as it sounds inside.
It sounds Great Bro
Right?! It’s crazy the tech we have for such little money!
My 7000 almost always has that weird vibration but that vibration does not happen on the handmic.
So only with label or headset?

Nice test Gabriel. Have you ran the Phenyx through a mixer yet and if so, did you adjust the mics from the mixer?

So any chance you used a power like a furman for clean energy. I had some issues that was cleared with a furman power supply

Who did the design on the building? And is the ceiling dome or is that just the fisheye lens?
Eagle Buildings right here in NC, it’s the fisheye lense warping time and space 🤣

Yo keep me posted bro but rta the mics as well please
Sounds like phone interference. When you hear it, turn the phone to airplane mode and see if it stops.
If this is the issue maybe Phenyx needs to add some shielding somewhere to the bodypack.
I don't think it is but I can always try. I don't remember if I had my phone on me or not. I'll give it a shot
