I use these, but with the handheld mics, for live events that I film. I have the XLR outputs going into a Tascam Portacapture X8 that I then sync up in post. Really pleased with the overall quality to value ratio. So many of these lower end wireless systems are trash, but these are pretty good!
Nice. Defi itely a solid setup. Tascams got something new coming in 6 days that looks like a smaller portacapture
Hey Bark, I have been running the PTU 4000a 8 handheld mic system for the last 2 1/2 years with almost no glitches until just recently on the 4 upper 900mhz frequencies. We are starting to think something in the local area has changed and is starting to give us a little interference. Save that the 8 mic system has been rock solid and taken all the abuse we have dished out to it. Running the composite output to a PV10 USB compact mixer and feeding the usb output to our computer for live streaming and the analog output to a Peavey 684 F amplifier for in house auditorium speakers. Has been well worth the money spent and very good audio quality all around.

@@ObscureMics I was going to say the same thing - sport coat lapel is the way to begin. I usually dial in the high mid and low mid to get a natural sound. peace
Question. So if you do the mixout thing instead of all 4 channels, I guess the volume knobs become useless yes?
No you still would control the levels of each mic and then mic out those volumes. I don't believe it will normalize all levels

I saw an adapter to connect a guitarr to the body pack and use it as an instrument transmiter. It means.. in the first side it has a mini xlr female connector and in the other one it has a 1/4 mono plug.
It would be great if you you make a test to check if it works... please.

It looks like y'all are wearing the headsets wrong. The hard wire should go behind your head (like you're wearing glasses on the back of your head), and not over your head.
Wasn't comfortable to me like that, kept sliding down
