Listed to the latest The Drop episode yesterday, loved as always! Great video here by Kofuzi and Great Job Meaghan, you are inspiring and I'm impressed by your race times!
Wow! What a beautiful showcase of this event weekend and the community this organization gets to support. Thank you! Please let us host HOU again in 2024!
These runner’s weekends never cease to disappoint! You capture the beauty of the sport! And the thumping electronic music never hurts 😂. Great work, Kofuzi ❤
So glad you covered Houston. This was my 8th Houston marathon and still chasing the elusive 4hr mark. I will be chasing again next year and would love to catch your shake out run on Buffalo Bayou. Thanks again Mike.
Great video and coverage. Awesome to see that you got Frank Lara in there. I went to high school with Frank and man was he a beast (obviously still is a beast haha). He is such a great guy and true ambassador of the sport.
Thanks or sharing! This was epic! So many of my runner friends were in Houston for this race. It will definitely be on my bucket list. Also, I appreciate that you put names under the runners so we knew who they were. Great content -as per your usual.
Awesome video. I’m so sad I had to bail at the last minute (my father passed away). This was supposed to be my first half. But I was where I needed to be and plenty of run opportunities exist. Houston is my hometown and I will run it one day. Glad you’re finally calling it a bayou. I’ve resisted correcting you for a while. :-) Thanks for the amazing recap. ❤️
Epic video! Sometimes it’s more exciting to be a spectator of the sport, to watch in amazement of what can be accomplished. Your video also shows that as runners, we are one community. Pace, duration, distance… throw it all out the window. If you have a body, you can be a runner and a part of this great, global community.
You are so good at you're craft, it is more then your experience. You have a natural talent , 500 years ago you would have had a lute and travelled across the map. I know, I say it probably too often but thank you. It allows someone like me who will likely never get to Texas , never mind Houston, to get a taste of what it was like to be there.
Mike, you did it again…beautifully capturing the excitement and energy of race day weekend. Thanks for bringing us along on another memorable adventure. And man oh man, those elites are blazingly fast!!! Awesome job keeping up with them and cheering them on at the same time!
Thanks for the vid @kofuzi your video skills are unbelievable. One guy shot all this and edited and turned it around in 1 day... amazing. Pro. It was my 24th Hou marathon. You did us proud. Runners unite.
Just raced in my first 5K yesterday at the Rose Bowl and finished 15th overall with a time of 20:56. Would like to hit sub 20 sometime soon, videos like this remind me why running is so great and can’t wait to get back out there and keep training
Your excellent video came at a great time. Watching your Houston Marathon Runner's Weekend really fired me up to keep running through a very dreary January. Thank you for the great work!
i like this guy, raw, authentic and seems so chilled. Congrats on building the run club! Hope Houston was epic. i need to get out to the USA more often!
Great video of the Houston Marathon. I love this race, after the majors this is my favorite... the organization, pre&post race treatment is outstanding... always say to new friends "come to race HOU, it's worthy".
Kofuzi! This was a real gem! Your unique perspective on running always brings a fresh and inspiring vibe, and this video was no exception. You really showcased Houston in a fantastic way! I appreciate your brand of humor, authenticity, and positivity, and how you always manage to brighten up my day. Your passion for running and life is contagious, and it's a true pleasure to watch your amazing content. Thanks for another inspiring and uplifting video, Kofuzi! Keep doing what you do best! All the best!
Oh man, awesome video highlighting why you came down to H-town! Glad we got to meetup and join your run group while you were there. Was one of the last ones in the group chatting with you about shoes, specifically Asics SB. Anyhow, keep up the good work and content brother!
Houston will always be on my favorite cities list I've run in. After Harvey I was stationed in Houston for Disaster Recovery. I was in a place next to the bayou. After a long day of work, I just laced my running shoes and went running on seemingly endless miles of trails. Loved it, so easy to get motivated to run. If I ever do a matathon again, Houston would be on my list to consider. Thank you for the video, really enjoyed it.
Nice video Mike. I wish I had the opportunity to meet you and Believe in the Run crew. I hope to join one of those shakeout runs. I ran the full marathon, my 3rd full. I was slower this time than last year, but I am not disappointed. My training was not at the same level, and I had to deal with a bad injury in mid-November that put me away from running for close to 3 weeks. It happens and I am satisfied with my time.
"1st Minnesotan, probably." Love it! 😂 Still have my Chuck Norris C Force water bottle from Houston 2020, my first marathon. It's a quality bottle, great for refilling over and over. Great video of a great event!👍
This race was so much fun! You did an amazing job of capturing the experience. Watching it today I felt like I was back running the half on Sunday. PRed on my time by 2 mins.
Great race recap vid as always! Btw was that Jamison Micheal at 10:09? My man has been MIA on here… anyway thanks for the continued inspiration Kofuzi!
Glad to have met you and attended the KRC shakeout. Coming down to spectate shows running is in your heart. Great coverage running alongside those elites from the sidelines. That must have been tiring!!
Was disappointed I didn’t get to meet you. Big fan. But glade you made it out there. Heck if you ever come up to seattle again I’ll run the Kofuzi run. But I did have a blast running Houston Half
Great contents as always! I feel like this edition is a lot more focused on the race itself than usual. Will there be another video that covers all the social events?
I think this one feels a bit different because Houston is a bit underrated as a race. There isn't a huge amount of stuff going on that I'm aware of, and due to some scheduling issues that I could have avoided but didn't, I didn't get to spend a lot of time at some of the events I did attend.
Sooooo good. This is a treasure to have the weekend documented like this. We can’t wait to explore Japan with you. See you soon friend.
Listed to the latest The Drop episode yesterday, loved as always! Great video here by Kofuzi and Great Job Meaghan, you are inspiring and I'm impressed by your race times!
Best piece of running content I’ve seen in a long time 👏🏻👏🏻
thanks so much Ben!

Runner's weekend is the best series ever. Just started running a couple of months ago and your videos always pump me up!
Thanks so much!
Awesome to meet you, Kofuzi! You got me in at 0:48! Keep up the awesome videos!
Great to meet you!
“Have a good time chasing good times” -Kofuzi 👍🏻
Man - kofuzi on the sidelines, running alongside while filming and cheering everybody on like that…straight up awesome! Good times indeed….
Great video. I was there and completed my first full Marathon. It was an amazing experience, Houston really does a great job all around
congratulations on the finish!
So glad you covered Houston. This was my 8th Houston marathon and still chasing the elusive 4hr mark. I will be chasing again next year and would love to catch your shake out run on Buffalo Bayou. Thanks again Mike.

Only Kofuzi can make that bad of a race look (relatively) good. Thanks for another great video!
Thanks or sharing! This was epic! So many of my runner friends were in Houston for this race. It will definitely be on my bucket list. Also, I appreciate that you put names under the runners so we knew who they were. Great content -as per your usual.
Nothing like a Kofuzi runner's weekend vlog. Just reinforces why we continue to partake in this wonderful sport.
Thank you so much Kofuzi. 😎
Houston never disappoints! Such a great and fun course. The energy is next level

Got a fist bump from you towards the end of the half marathon….it was great to see you out there and gave me a much needed boost!
so glad I was able to help in any way!
Nice video Mike. I wish I had the opportunity to meet you and Believe in the Run crew. I hope to join one of those shakeout runs.

Sick video, bro. Music, sound engineering, and everything was on point!
"1st Minnesotan, probably." Love it! 😂 Still have my Chuck Norris C Force water bottle from Houston 2020, my first marathon. It's a quality bottle, great for refilling over and over. Great video of a great event!👍
I did double check later, and Ben was actually the 2nd Minnesotan
