- This week, I'm heading to meet up with the ASICS Van at an event in Denver. And while I was there, I extended the trip so I could spend some time meeting up some internet friends and running some IRL routes

Glad to see I’m not the only one who starts a Colorado trail run with Des questioning my life choices. 🤣
Des claims that all the trails start out with giant climbs so it can’t be avoided, but I’m not so sure
The fact that Kofuzi gets along with all these other YTers and shoe reps shows he is a genuinely nice guy, IMO. Glad he’s able to get all these partnerships and explore beautiful places.
That said please don’t drive & film! I know you want to capture the fun stuff for us, but I’d rather have you drive safe.
Good to see link-up with Serious Runner,he has good content. Kofuzi always manages to tap in with RUclips content creators when he hits their city,it's a testament to how well he gets along with others(no jealousy,just shared passions)
Hi Mike, your channel is another level. Such great production and variety. Running is about getting the feeling - you get that across so well.
The adventure continues! So many miles run, trails to traverse, kofuzians to meet, YT collabs to be had and food to discover this trip - now I want to visit CO! Can't wait to see the next chapters in OR and CA!

Nice, I live in Denver. There's some crazy runners in Colorado. Most insane thing I've seen is people running up and down 14,000ft peaks, while I'm struggling just to walk

After 40 years in Denver, and going to college in Boulder, I moved away about six years ago. Loved to see many of my old running haunts. Looks like you had a great weather day in Waterton Canyon. I certainly have fond memories of many cold, snowy and icy runs up that Canyon in winter.

What a fun trip! I live in Colorado (Loveland, which is just north of Boulder) so it was fun to see you run the nearby trails/areas. beau jo's pizza is good, especially with honey on the crust ;-) Great video!!!

What a fun video! I moved here last year (from the Chicago burbs actually) and also got back into running around the same time. Betasso and Waterton have been favorites in training for my first trail marathon. Glad you had fun!

Betasso is my home course!! But I usually just start from the trailhead at the top, avoids the nasty uphill section in the beginning :) Great video, Boulder is awesome!

Ko, this was a particularly epic vlog capturing an epic half-week. I can’t believe how many miles and how much vert you ran (and in high temperatures to boot) starting within hours of arrival. It’s good you were coming off a marathon block but you’re always super fit now anyway. I looked up Mammoth Lakes and the elevation is 7881 ft, so this active visit should help ensure you don’t suffer adverse altitude effects (the cut off is >6000 ft for the general population). It was fun to see you again in person! PS. Pizza Locale is one of the places I was recommending to you, and you can wear anything there. That’s the thing about outdoorsy states like CO and CAL. I had that same mushroom white pizza; quite the opposite style of Beau Jo’s pizza!

I discovered Ryan’s channel during the lockdown, and he just struck me as being such and honest and down to earth person. He’s definitely one of those people who’s somehow everyone’s friend.

Loving these Kofuzi adventures! Those are some gorgeous trails.
I just heard you’re coming out to SF. I’m not sure where you’re staying in the City, but if you’re looking for a nice route, run along the Bay coastline from the Ferry Building to Golden Gate Bridge and back. It’s about 10 miles and you’re going to pass some of the most scenic attractions of SF. And if you’re up for it, run on the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s definitely one to cross off the bucket list.
Lastly, if you’re looking for pizza in SF: Tony’s Pizza Napoletana.
I think I’ll be running across the bridge, which I’ve not yet done before in SF.

+1 - this is a must-run route in S.F.! I used to run along the Embarcadero before work, before the shelter in place order. It’s such a scenic run. Then head back to the Ferry Building for coffee & a vegan donut.

Hey kofuzi I just love your running videos and shoe reviews! They are so addicting! So enthusiastic! What shoes are you wearing? I see everyone else has pretty much the same shoes! But not you! Unless it’s the same shoes different color? Just curious what model ASICS ?
I went to Denver/Boulder for the first time a few years ago, to run the Bolder/Boulder 10K.., and I said to myself after that weekend..”it’s a good thing I didn’t go to CU Boulder, because I would have found a way to stay for the rest of my days”
I definitely have to visit again.., oh damn “serious runner”..

I didn’t really adjust anything except expectations and ego. Altitude seems to hit me pretty hard.

Yes, butter. And way too much Vegemite there. Probably no more than half a teaspoon is all you need. I'm sorry for your first Vegemite experience!
So goood...but how did you not meet up with Seth DeMoor!!!??!! It's not like he's busy with 4 kids, a daily vlog and one kid on the way...plus training. Can't wait to see the CA vlogs! I definitely have to go to Boulder now. PS---Asics Fuji Lite 2 is the most underrated trail shoe out there. I've got 300+ miles in mine and they are still just as amazing as when I first put them on.
I was not expecting much from the Fuji Lite 2, but it turned out to be extremely useful and enjoyable for me on this trip

At home, I like CeraVe. It’s a bit milky and doesn’t ever fully blend in, but it’s what I prefer. For this trip, I think I got a neutrogena 50spf or so travel size that is a bit more sheer. Worked pretty well
