I needed to see this video today. I just gave up on a puzzle that was too difficult for me at my current skill level. I might try it again when my skills improve, but for now, it's time to move on to something more gratifying.
Hugs to you! I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who struggles sometimes with finishing a puzzle. No sleepless nights over this for sure! Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy puzzling!
I love your "You are in charge of your puzzling experience" statement! I find it strange that people think there are rules to puzzling. For me puzzling is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. If it's not fun or enjoyable why torture yourself. Happy Puzzling, Luisa! 😊
@@LuisaPuzzles I watch a lot of speed puzzlers and the competitions. 😂 But I have no desire to try. I'm a very slow puzzler. The only puzzles I've completed in one sitting were 100 piece puzzles. 😂 I do love puzzles very much. That's why I watch puzzling videos. Happy Puzzling, Luisa! ☺
Oh yes, it is quite all right to quit a puzzle. - Only a "worthy" puzzle (which is subjective) must be finished. I agree with you, if you deem/find a puzzle is just not "worthy" of your time, no, you do not have to struggle to finish it. - If I start a puzzle and I find it to be boring (not "worthy) or just not _worth_ the focus, I pack it up and take it to Goodwill without a whim of shame, regret, or a feeling of failure. - Puzzling is for enjoyment, not suffering :-)
You are so right! Thanks for helping to reinforce this thought for me. I sometimes feel guilty for not finishing one, but I am getting better at letting it go. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
I never waste time angsting over a puzzle that I am struggling with. If I'm not getting on with a jigsaw I put it back in the box and move on. I've had quite a few in the past like that. Life is too short to fuss about completing a jigsaw that you are not getting on with. Gradients can be tricky and you need to be sure that it is going to be do-able for you. I have done gradients in the past, did the ones I liked and moved on or back to the usual type of jigsaws. Just finished a Ravensburger called Vintage Fairground Fun. I do all sorts of images and piece sizes. I shall look out for your next video.
Glad to hear that! I was feeling a bit guilty for not wanting to finish this one. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate your thoughts. The Vintage Fairground sounds like a fun one. See you next time :)
Thanks for another puzzle video. I have given up on puzzles. Life is too short to spend on a puzzle that you hate. My most recent one was "Out West" by Blue Kazoo brand (The actual image did not match the picture on the front of the box. There was way too much of the same colors in the actual image). I have never done a Clementoni puzzle. Was part of the issue the fit of the puzzle pieces? Maybe the correct piece was still hard to place into puzzle? You are never sure if the piece is a correct or false fit (Cloudberries brand is like this). Was there maybe a lack of variety in puzzle shapes? I didn't see the one-out and 3-in pieces. I didn't see the four out, or four in pieces. Or maybe a lack of different prong shapes? Or maybe just too much texture on the pieces (makes it hard to see the shape)? In other words, do you recommend staying away from the Clementoni brand due to piece cut, or was this just an issue with this particular image. Looking forward to seeing your next video!
Thanks for watching another video and commenting. I enjoy reading your comments and I love getting your take on what's going on with my puzzle journey! In this case, the puzzle had so much texture, I am guessing that is what is meant by all the color which makes it difficult to tell one piece from another? This was my first Clementoni puzzle so I can't say for sure if they would all be this frustrating. I will have to try another one for sure. I haven't done a Blue Kazoo brand either. I'll have to keep an eye out for one...maybe. I totally jumped into another puzzle which had more of a scene for next week's video. See you there!
Thanks for your support. I was feeling a little bad about posting that one, but it was the truth. I've decided that life is too short to be miserable doing a puzzle. That's a first-world problem for sure, ha! Good job doing 2000 piece puzzles. I don't have space for one that large. Enjoy!

I had to chuckle when I read your comment...cuz I couldn't agree more! Maybe I am watching too many speed puzzling contests? :)

I hear you! I have decided that that is my strategy moving forward! Thanks for watching and happy puzzling :)

If I don't like it OR the quality is horrid- off it goes to someone else who might enjoy it!! New subscriber here :)
Hi! I agree with you! Thanks for watching and subscribing! What puzzle are you working on now?
I would say you are smart not to do it. I have done a 2000piece puzzle of the first puzzle you chose and it was by Buffalo.
