The only thing you can do to cheat in puzzling is when some of the pieces are still attached together in the box and you dont seperate them. I cant think of anything else
Oh i recently bought this one and now i plan to take it with me on vacation to danmark. Hope i enjoy it as much as you did. 😊 I always enjoy it, if someone from somewhere around the world enjoys the same puzzle🎉
I think that's a great idea for puzzling with kids and also older adults. My parents are 92 and 93 and they would really have found this one challenging. Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy puzzling :)
Your last gradient puzzle needed the letters on the back to help! When I did "Rainy Night Walk" 1000 piece puzzle by ingooood, I completely sorted the puzzle by the letters on the back. It was a combination of the puzzle being mostly the same colors everywhere and a very poor puzzle cut that caused the need for this. It was still difficult with the letters on the back. If the puzzle hadn't been a Christmas gift, I would have never completed it.
I agree, I needed those letters on that one for sure! Good job on using the resource to complete that puzzle. I'm still learning about the different puzzle companies and their particular cuts. I have puzzled for years and years but only chose ones that appealed to me image wise. Now that I am sharing my puzzling experience, I am learning so much! Thanks for your insights :)
Buenos dias! There is no cheating in puzzling! As long as YOU enjoy it, it's not cheating. Esta rompecabeza (I love that word! I know it's not really the right word. LOL) es muy bonita!
I did a 1000 piece puzzle by Bragamiens. It was a type of Mandela titled Tree of Life. There were letters on the back which i used to sort the pieces. I waa afraid it was going to be too challenging for me. However, it was very enjoyable. I was really pleased with myself. I also did another one that had letters on the back and again used that to sort the pieces. I enjoyed that one as well! 😊 Happy Puzzling, Luisa!
Thanks for watching and commenting! I love hearing about other people's experiences with puzzling. Those Mandelas are a challenge for sure. And, I agree, the letters on the back are so helpful. I'm working on one now that has a lot of brown background but no letters on the back to help. So, it's taking me a little bit of time to finish but I am enjoying the process. And that is the point, no? Happy puzzling to you, too !
Letters on the back of pieces can be helpful if the image is somewhat challenging. I have used that a few times on puzzles. It partly depends on the image. There was a puzzle called Autumn in my Heart by Bgraamiens 750 pieces, which was shaped like a heart. That had letters on the back which I utilised to get the puzzle done as I was finding it tricky to complete. I shall look out for your next video.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I agree...the letters can be so helpful when the image is challenging. I wish there were letters on some of the really difficult ones I have tackled in the past. No need to be stressed over doing a puzzle, imo. What puzzle are you working on now?
@@LuisaPuzzles I've just begun a Gibsons 500 piece puzzle called The Fishing Village by Emma Ball. As a retired person I have plenty of time at my disposal so I can get through quite a few puzzles in a month, usually around 15 to 20. Depends on the image and puzzle count. I do anything between 99 pieces to 1000. I buy puzzles because I like the image, the artist doesn't really come into it for me.
Thanks for another puzzle video! This was a really great image. If you like busy puzzles, look for ones by artist Aimee Stewart or Colin Thompson. What does your husband do while you puzzle? Looking forward to your next video!
I will look for some by those artists you mentioned. I find it challenging to find puzzles as we live in Mexico. Sometimes I can find them on Amazon, but we don't have the big stores for puzzles like exist in the US. Haha, my husband is an avid reader and gets lost in all kinds of historical novels or biographies. I have always had to find something to do to keep me busy as I am the extrovert and he the introvert. What puzzle are. you working on now?
@@LuisaPuzzles I am currently working on the Ravensburger "Radiating Rainbow Mandalas" 2000 piece puzzle by artist Elspeth McLean. I purchased this puzzle because I absolutely loved the Ravensburger 1000 piece "Celestial Constellations" puzzle by the same artist.
No. It's not cheating. The letters are there for a reason. Use them or not. It's up to you. I've done several puzzles with letters. I always use them in some way. Sometimes I do the whole puzzle using the letters if it's challenging enough.
Thanks for your comments. It is nice to see others using all the resources to be able to complete the puzzle. It is such a fun hobby, don't you think? What are you working on now?
I think it's cheating if you only do the puzzle from the back. Checking if it's right on those super hard puzzles it's a given, the same goes for repeating cut pattern. Use if you need it but at least try first.
That would be really difficult to do the puzzle from the back. But, I'm with you, checking to see how a puzzle piece fits, or where once in a while, is fine. What puzzle are you working on now?

That is a bonus! I hope you enjoy it, too! Happy puzzling :)
Sometimes I separate the pieces by letter then just work on one section at a time. This is great for puzzling with kids.

Deff not cheating- I think it's super handy if you get stuck, helping someone who is newer to puzzles, so many great reasons for it!

Definitely not cheating - if they didn’t want you to use the letters, they wouldn’t be there.

@LuisaPuzzles I'm doing a Monte Fuji 5k by Grow, but I fit in some smaller ones to practice for a competition.
so fun
