Hi jamie, That is some exciting news. I'll be buying both kits to see how the p47 stands up against the tamiya one. keep the videos coming. Merry Christmas to you and the family, mate. cheers Gary 🇬🇧
@@thescalemodellingcafe I'm not really "in the loop", so can't say. But depending on where they are (or aren't) on the process of doing a new Dora, this could possibly move it to a back burner in order to get something else out. In my mind, Arma (sometimes), Modelsvit (sometimes), Wingsy, and now Miniart are Eduard's only peers when it comes to 1/48 aircraft, so their releases may influence release schedules.
Great video and chat on some interesting releases from Miniart..Like others have already commented,Miniart Fw-190D-9 is a winner release and I think it will sell very well..I can see Miniart releasing a Me-262 one day as there is a gap from a new tooling 262..Also miniart would produce an amazing P-38 range I think. All the best and merry Christmas
Love Miniart -got numerous of their kits, from buses to tanks to the odd P-47. Not 100% perfect but great detailing. Love their figures too... -I must, I have loads! BTW thx for the socks advice, got some coming to try. If the SMC falters (perish the thought), you should have a channel advising blokes on what fashions to get from ex-army surplus...
Looking forward to both kits. On the MiniArt P-47 I'm working on at the moment some of the rivets are a little heavy, but sanding down the surface made them look a lot better. Will be interesting to see if they improve on the FW 190 and hopefully get the surface detail more consistent and a little finer.
I bought my p-47 at Telford last year so a bit older. I want that razorback 😊 that is so cool. The 190 looks interesting, but for the stash stash can't be to big😅
👍🏻 Jamie, a bit off piste but can you point me in the direction of a good canopy tinting technique? I’d like to tint the side panel windows of the windscreen only of an A10C Warthog , the real things have a brownish hue (Tamiya smoke) ? Sorry, I appreciate it’s your holiday 😆

Cheers Gary
The Dora is a tactical masterstroke, getting to market before a new tool Eduard.
I'm not sure Eduard has any plans to redo it in the near future

....and here I used to hate the Dora-9, now it's just as gorgeous as Marilyn Monroe! 😉
It is lovely

I've never built one, I'm going to have to try them soon

I'm sure they've learned a lot from the P-47
For a bit of fun I bought the miniart Triebflugel and it is a very well engineered kit so I am sure these will be very well made too.
I hear good things about the P-47

I may get it...
👍🏻

Try a standard felt tip pen on the canopy inside surface, brown probably.
Try it on a spare clear part first.
Might try tamiya smoke thinned in clear varnish?
@69stingrayman I did see that one , may have to give it a go on some scrap canopy.
@@antonrudenham3259 Definitely worth an experiment.
I'd spray thinned Tamiya Smoke on the inside. If you have any Future floor polish then you could try dipping it afterwards to seal it in.
Wow! I love the Dora - can't wait to see this one...
Me too
Would have preferred 1/32 or 1/35 but good news just the same. Looking forward to buying a few of them.
I don't know how good it is but Dora Wings has a 2023 tooling of the P-47 Razorback in 1/48.
The Dora Wings kits are of the earlier B and C versions, not the D
They're the earlier B and C versions, and are not riveted but are nice kits
Good call. A new Dora was long outstanding as the older Eduard kit is the only viable option. Tamiya kit is too old now.
The Hobbyboss Dora is good
It looks very nice
enlisted game staff uniform discainer and vehicle must see this future planing , next year 2025 .
Thanks mate
@@thescalemodellingcafe thank you , your self , bro .
