Nice review as usual but I have a problem with the way some people pronounce the name of this brand. It's not I-suzu but Isuzu. Same applies to Iveco, it's not I-veco but IVECO

    • @PCcedric

We know it's I-Suzu, we just like calling it Isuzu, even the guy said Isuzu at the beginning then I -suzu the through rest of the vid. It's like Tomato tomato.

Honestly Isuzu is like Toyota. They not really worried about power and stuff they just want to bring to market what works and what is reliable
I’m pretty confident this Isuzu will outlive the raptor no lie!😅 I think for most people this 140kw will do the job
    Nice one Mr Nash🎉😊

Yeah Nick, I think imma join you also on Team RANGER 😆, I mean, this BAKKIE segment has changed course thanks to FORD and their RANGER models, that Tremor and Platinum are something else hey 😅.

My only issue are the breaks, is has normal brakes as per the other Isuzu's, this guy got bigger wheels and it needs bigger and better brake discs.

If this had 100 more kw it would definitely give the Raptor a run for its money

Isuzu missed the point for not pumping up a bit that engine power, even 165kw/500nm surely would have been appreciated. It has a stance challenge Raptor but lacks power dismally.

Japanese automakers seem to be stubborn when it comes to adding power to their cars

The Ranger is just 184 KW and 600NM bro, no need to over 200KW on a bakkie ,As long as it has enough NM to haul or two loads.
I do not see Isuzu going to much stronger engines, they take time and stay with tried and tested engines
rather keep a reliable engine then going to something that will start giving issues later
I dont see other manufactures doing enough R & D on these new engines.

    • @avuazahc1966
      @avuazahc1966 2 месяца назад

🤣🤣U call it "just 184kw/600nm" compared to a mere 145kw/450nm. Uphill one would wish to climb with Ranger when towing from ocean trip coming to Gauteng where you spend most of the time climbing terrains.

@@antonioporra7210 these trucks are heavy, that extra power is useful in normal driving not just hauling and towing, by the way the raptor tows and hauls way less that the entry level ranger 2L, Isuzu 1.9 or hilux 2.4

This doesn't even come close to the raptor, it competes with the 2L fords (which have good fuel economy) not even the 3L diesel and definitely not the raptor

Just a normal Isuzu with big wheels and extra Tupperware, looks like it was pimped by those guys who buy cheap gr stickers and cladding.
The raptor is perfect, in fact all variants of the ranger are just perfect they don't look like they were pimped under a tree, But from the factory.
Isuzu and that Hilux think sticking extra plastic on wheel wells makes their bakkies cool. Maybe they can fool old people. They should be ashamed for charging millions for this

Raptor though uses a lot more fuel compared to the AT35. The AT35 has enough power. If you want a bakkie that is reliable and will last you for the long run, the AT35 is better than the Raptor. Anyways the Raptor is too expensive and doesn't come with a diesel engine

  • @mayormsuthu1465

I like this bakkie but its so underpowered for what it is. I'd rather buy the normal v-cross cos i as a black guy am not about offroadin i only go on the gravel which even a kia picanto can run on without a problem. Isuzu is a great bakkie its good looks are a bonus.
