Oh my - the detail - superb... even a gorgeous laminated prop.
A joy to watch that fly... and plenty of motor too.
As usual Horst - outstanding footage.
It is so peaceful and calming to watch this fly. Thank you for sharing.
Almost makes one envious. Dig that sweater. Bless you, and many miles✝️
Thank you for your kind comment which I really appreciate !!!
2:06-2:10/Only motor, no audience chatter, superb! Merry Christmas.
*Thank you for your kind comment which I really appreciate !!!* 🤗
Magnífic. I can't describe this. Thank for the old things that made it happen thanks
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Very nice model, Fantastic build and great flying!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Horst, this is a magnificent model, once it is in the air, you cannot tell that it is in fact a model. Great video, cheers! Dougal
Blue skies, a beautiful model and excellent camera work = great video!
Thumbs up Horst thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Bob
As always, I appreciated the excellent video! The model is very nice and flown in a scale way. Thanks for posting!
dpalmer146 _Thank you for your kind comments. I'm very happy to know that you liked the video ! ! !_
I think that flew better than the full scale! Outstanding!!!! This is model aviation as it was meant to be..
As much as I enjoy high-speed, low-level flybys, this was a wonderful departure. Lovely model. Thank you for sharing.
Steve
That is one beautiful aircraft with - seemingly - very realist flight characteristics.
Roy Kliffen _Thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated !_
Hi Horst,
Perfect report of the flight and excellent video!!
The engine is a 14 Hp Briggs and Stratton Lawnmower but adapted for this plane by decresing the cranckshafthousing...new castings such as the front cover, incorperating ball bearings, electronic ignition, etc. Runs at 150 rpm static and at max 2600 full throttle.
It took two years of allmost full time building to complete it and it flew first mid 2012.
henkvanhoornberkum _Thank you very much for the additional information, Henk._
It was a pleasure to meet you at the Prowing. Too sad, that you left early on Sunday.
I hope we will meet again at some other event.
_Happy flying !!!_
Best regards, Horst
WOW, a truly fantastic model plane. Great detail, superb. Thanks for posting this Horst.
My brother is the new pilot from the plane. And God Video 👍🏻
That is awesome! THANKS
What a pleasure it is to watch this model fly. Beautiful craftsmanship in its construction too. Great video as well thanks
WOW!!! Now that would be a show stopper at Joe Nall. 👍🏼😉👍🏼 Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!
nice scale rendition, thanks for sharing......
I never noticed any ailerons, so I assume it had wing warping just like the original. Outstanding aeroplane.
Nice and beautiful slow flight
Amazing work! Félicitations.
Very impressive and great flying.
Wow! It's incredible!
Fantastic!!
Fantástico motor .rpm perfeito ,verdadeiramente escala .parabéns !
I can’t tell it from the real thing and expected the pilot to wave as he passed
Bonjour Horst,
Very beautiful airplane & great video *Thumb Up*
Best regards, Christian.
Thank you for sharing
This is a real thrill machine. Back in those days you always flew at the edge of a stall.
PERFECTION!!!
God I love the sound of that engine! Like a Harley-Davidson with wings. XD
Motherbrain Jr *_thanks ! ! !_*
Yes, it sounds like a HD because of the V2 engine 😎
A very atmospheric scale aircraft... Shame about the endless chatter in the background, the engine sounds wonderful *
Great model and excellent video .
Gorazd Cok _Thank you very much for your kind comments!_
RCScaleAirplanes I always enjoy watching your videos, those kind of airplanes are rarely seen on flying fields in my country.
Great video..again...and wonderful model but I think he may as well have built the real thing!!! :)
Wauw :D I'm glad you featured this plane (Henk lives or lived in the town I grew up in)
Is that a gorgeous model or what? :D
So buoyant for its size
Beautiful
MojoWinsky Ibero _Thank you !_
Awesome!👍
But it seems to be a filigree plane which requires smooth landings
very nice video
Beaver99 _Thank you!_
I know that guy personal he also did a flight over a mountain with a smaller one if i am correct
TheFlyingDutchRC _I can imagine, that you know him in person._
*Dutch meets Dutch* 😎
Yes, I've heard about his adventures with the smaller version of the Blèriot.
Due to the heavy wind on Sunday, he left the Prowing exhibition early in the morning and therefore it was not possible to get the complete model data.
_Can you help me to get some more details?_
Thank you. Cheers
sure what do you need? i was at Prowing Nord at Friday
TheFlyingDutchRC _for example:_
type of engine (manufacturer)
time to build the plane
_would be great to get this information_
if i am correct he modified the engine by himself to be a V2 engine but ill ask him the precise details
@@RCScaleAirplanes Der motor ist ein modifizierter Briggs vanguard V2 mit 480ccm. Henk hat mir auch einen gemacht :P
That I know of, It is a type XI Blériot from 1910. This model had it's try to fly over the Simplon Swiss, from Brig to Italy. Geo Chavez did this in 1910 whit his Blériot, but crashed at arriving on the landing sight. He did not survive the crash.
Last year we gathered a team of model flyers and did the first part of the route (Simplon), from Brig to the top with a 50% size Blériot. And made it to the top.
Here some footage of his first attempt: ruclips.net/video/EGHqV-VLRZg/видео.html
Looks like a Briggs & Stratton engine.
Yes indeed 👍🏻
mutley !!!!!, do something!!!!! nice machine
