I discovered Gary like 4 years ago and since then I haven't been able to stop listening to him 🤧 it's not even like an impersonation it's like a recreation of Freddie's voice
You nailed almost to the perfect tones of the real unique Freddie voice. Congratulation. Listening to Martel or Lambert or other impersonators don't give the same feel. Your voice is almost identical, amazing. Greetings from Italy by a Queen fan.
Marc and Gary, the two reincarnations from Freddie. Gary has the look and a very part o Freddie's voice, and Marc has the face and all the remainder talent. Together are Freddie Mercury hahaha.
That's how it would've sounded like if freddie would've sung it live. Fucking masterpiece it deserves way more views. Gary you amazing, you nailed it one of freddie hardest song to pull off but you did an outstanding job.
Gary this is incredible, the color of your voice is amazing, I was in tears listening to your perfectly in tune high range - you really killed it man!!
hi gary its frenchies dad im glad you put this in the show and hey malcolm hope your enjoying these times the performances are outstanding as good as the real thing!
Gary is definitely the best impersonator of Freddie for damn sure, no questions. But he still doesn't sound as smooth as Freddie in the high notes. Very good voice none-the-less, no one can really be compared to Freddie, so to even sound like him a little is a massive compliment :D
oops cant share the link, try to search with this words: Barcelona - Queen Sinfónico 1 (Dios Salve a la Reina).mpg just take a look on that version. i think it's amazing
My friend wanted to sing this song with during my schools talent show I said , if you can sing like Monserrat caballe you're in. I sang the miracle solo instead
WOW... great performance from them both... Ruth was an excellent and faultless M Caballe. Big test for Gary, as in concert he sings a bit faster than Freddie did to get the notes out (or to save his voice as mentioned below).
Why in a film depicting the life of freddie mercury and the talent he possesed did they use the voice of Marc Martel a good singer but doesnt sound like the real man himself as opposed to Gary here who clearly has a close vocal range and the same undertone as freddie when it came to later in his career like 1980"s
Gary Mullen comes really close, when it comes to the sound... His vocal range is just a little bit smaller than Freddie's was in his best days. And his timing isn't as good as Mercury in his best days.. but it's still quite good. Tonight I'll see "One Night Of Queen" in Groningen. I think it will be enjoyable. ;-)
also doesn't have thst falsetto + accent BUT !! the most recognizable mode of Freddie's voice is almost like original. like him more than Martel. who's better at falcetto and timing and doesn't have accent.
@RoyXXI That version (Dios Salve a la Reina) isn't better because his intonation is bad (especially in the 3rd and 4th octave), his C5 (compared to Gary's) is quite thin and he doesn't hit all the notes, while Gary does (he even nails the backing vocals too.)
@MeijerMartijn Actually I don't think there is a difference in range. If anything, Mullen's range is the same but he hits more high notes per concert than Mercury did. Then again sometimes he should probably save it. On this one some high notes are not quite perfect. Saw them yesterday. Eyes closed there is no telling the difference.

1:36 i swear thats the most Freddie you can get. Unreal!
Naw, 2:08 is where it's at
3:08 nope this is it
fact : he has his own voice , but sometimes really can hear freddie voice
For an impersonator he is the best. I’ve seen him 7 times and always love it. Closest thing to Freddie
And what a HARD voice to follow!! So well done Gary
@@mercurythelegend I hope to see him next year. I've never seen him. Would you say he's the best impersonator of Freddie Mercury??
Michelle Salgado yes! He’s fab! He does loose his voice a little touring so much though!
@@mercurythelegend I figured he did, because Freddie did also.
I've seen him twice and met him In person before a show. Lovely genuine Scotsman and to me Freddie lives on in Gary
To quote Dr Leonard McCoy:-
"He's really not dead, as long as we remember him."
You nailed almost to the perfect tones of the real unique Freddie voice. Congratulation. Listening to Martel or Lambert or other impersonators don't give the same feel. Your voice is almost identical, amazing. Greetings from Italy by a Queen fan.
Goldengab Adam Lambert is not trying to impersonate Freddie. He does his own thing
Goldengab agree! :)
chatzivasilis he sucks
GABARTS and he loves Freddie
Marc and Gary, the two reincarnations from Freddie. Gary has the look and a very part o Freddie's voice, and Marc has the face and all the remainder talent. Together are Freddie Mercury hahaha.
Absolutely staggering
Freddie lives only in the hearts of those who love him!!!
Freddie lives on in Garry , fantastic

Me and Gary are close friends, he’s actually such a great guy, great voice also!
Whow! What to say else...
very very good.
ya hombre, pero eso no desmerece la voz de este tio, es realmente bueno, solo acercarse al registro y tonalidad de freddi es un milagro
Wow
A kind of Miracle.
I fucking love this guy man! I must find him so that I can be friends w/ him man.
super
that was fking amazing, we didnt get to hear freddie do this live but i imagine this was pretty damn close
Incrível!
That's amazing. He sounded almost exactly like the original Version. I think freddie voice reincarnated in his body.
Pity the audio isn't better. This is a great rendition.
they are probably listening in awe,
Great job Gary, one question, before you went on Stars In Their Eyes where the hell were you hiding for so long?
OMG... Freddie lives! ;)
is it possible to re upload but a bit louder please as its so quiet thanks
I wish he come to aargentina. :(

You are simply fantastic! I discovered you a few days ago. I m searching the way to come at one of your concert. Do you come in italy?
que carajos, tiene una gran voz.
Bee-yoo-tiful! Great duet!
This is best we get, we who are born too late
Que tristeza que el vídeo tenga un volumen tanto bajo no alcanzo a oír bien toda la potencia de su voz
incroyable on dirai presque l'original c'est hallucinant !
the lyrics are... "Por ti seré gaviota de tu bella mar"
My friend wanted to sing this song with during my schools talent show I said , if you can sing like Monserrat caballe you're in. I sang the miracle solo instead
gary mullen rocks amazing voice
freddie is alive
Chilling! This is a tough song to sing. You need to be consistent in power 100% of the time because Freddie did not let up.
WOW... great performance from them both... Ruth was an excellent and faultless M Caballe.

To gary mullen lack feeling, is pure tecnic. Listen to freddie, and will know what I mean
Audio is very low

i just cried- 31 - male,,,!!hahahah is that aloud
Is an international soprano a soprano with a passport?
