It looks like some one carved into it in the 1800s. I’m surprised it’s not covered in spray paint! Here in Georgia they spray paint all over things like that! If they could find some old lead paint, they would paint over things with that!! That’s how they are in Kennesaw, Georgia!
That’s horrible. This one is well protected. It’s essentially on private property and he does have security cameras and alerts. There are several 1800s, I believe the earliest is 1857. It’s interesting because the same names turn out in other rocks in the area too. I’m sorry that they’re not cared for very well in your area.
@@Timberadventures You know because the south is blamed for racism, slavery & everything else under the sun! No monument, stone or statue is safe! Even the righteous monuments, statues or any type of thing is protected! Not even Kennesaw Mountain!! Because Americans don’t respect anything! Especially in the south! The true south. Not The Carolinas anymore or Florida. Florida is kind of a mix. Anyway nothing is respected around here!! The police never arrest anyone either!
@@Zach-sg5uu life has changed massively! I really believe that history, positive or negative should stand and if the negative is just straight up wrong, hateful, or harmful…put up a plaque with the facts and reasons and explain why! If you take it away, no one gets educated or learns from it. Then people are doomed to repeat history. I wish you luck and good thoughts and continue to live, learn, and love history!!
