Anything inside your domicile is protected unless threatening or a harmful act and cannot be used against you.". I work for a hospital. People get nasty with me all the time, in pain, dying, or just because. I smile and take it and ask if they need anything else. When I get home I say things that would make a SAILOR blush with shame. Then I go to work and clock in, turn that off and do it all over again. This woman is no different than the rest of us. Minorities see Caucasians as individuals. But Caucasians only see minorities as a group. This thinking is embedded at a very young age and reinforced throughout their lives by family, friends and social circles.

She was not at work, she was in the privacy of her own home. Out in public, on the bench, yes you are 100% right, they should be held to a higher standard. But in the confines of ones home it's none of our business. The SCOTUS ruled that 40 years ago. "You have no expectation of privacy outside your front door. Anything inside your domicile is protected unless threatening or a harmful act and cannot be used against you.".
I work for a hospital. People get nasty with me all the time, in pain, dying, or just because. I smile and take it and ask if they need anything else. When I get home I say things that would make a SAILOR blush with shame. Then I go to work and clock in, turn that off and do it all over again. This woman is no different than the rest of us. She used a bad word in her house, not on the bench and has no record apparently or we'd have heard about it of her racism while handing down judgments. Should she be held to a higher standard? yep, in public. In the privacy of her own home she can be what she wants and we have no say in the matter regardless of profession.

Why does the story start out about a break in? This newscast centered her experience. She seemed fine to me. The whole family was laughing and spreading the holiday cheer. I live in NY and I know personally and have heard of at least ten ppl who were killed by someone who was out on bond awaiting trial for killing someone else. This really isn't anything new. I feel that there should be judges judging the judges to hold them to a higher standard of walking a straight line if they feel there is any racial bias, prejudice,personal past hurt that would sentence them longer. We don’t know who we’re hiring for people who are in higher power. Everyone should get a background check of their personal lives that may not be considered criminal due to their thought process but it can tarnish a person’s livelihood forever. Of course we’ve having multiple police officers on the scene who may be in compliance and share the same views and thoughts may go against this idea of having multiple judges, but I’m hoping that there is only one bad Apple out of the selection
