What a sorry state of affairs when it has to actually be explained to people that this is NOT about the burglar, name calling, or him getting his feelings hurt. Now LASC has to review every case she's ever had to see if Odinet's racism played any part of the sentencing of black defendants or dismals of white defendants. Any good defense lawyer with their salt would immediately file appeals for all the black defendants sentenced by Odinet.
I'm sure the LASC will try to cover it up, but....there's also a good case that defense attorneys could file a suit to the DOJ against Odinet for violating civil rights.

This case is about the egregious, and very casual racist behavior displayed by a sitting Judge. A judge who regularly holds the fate of many POC in her hands, and in whom we have to be confident can weigh evidence objectively, impartially and equitably at all times. THAT is the very nature of her job. So if one cannot feel fairly confident that she is not terribly biased (or bigoted) when presiding over cases, then she does not merit the position. Not sure what’s so hard to understand (assuming you’re not racist)?
