Awesome seeing how these corals grow in the wild! Those were nice colonies of pectinia and montiporas!! Awesome colony of pavona too! I have all these species in my tank (except for pectinia, but I plan to get one soon) and it's just great to see how the grow in the wild. It also helps with coral placement too! Great video
does the reef in the Lagune look like it got hit by a mass bleaching event? I know, you said the corals aren't dead, but maybe they started to bleach. I mean I wouldn't be surprised, the changes are dramatic... I love your channel, keep on making these nice videos
Nice work Jake just goes to show why sps dedicated and lps dedicated systems do better then mixed reef tanks even in the wild you dont see them together.
Rewatching this video almost 3 years later and I can't help but ask, as we're both from CO, did you watch Marty Stoufer's Wild America before you did the narration for this? Regardless, awesome video! Hope you make it back out there for 2021/22.
That was incredible!! Especially the Lobo colonies. Would love to see more videos like this of corals in their natural habitat
Great Job Jake! Thanks for taking us on your journey!
Nikko Bay is one of my favorite places to explore in Palau!
