Scott Cook of Intense-Racing is the first G8 in the 10's 10.727 @ 129.87 mph. it's his daily driver. i know i work there.

UPDATE: 01.16.10 ~ Car is still together, still has a 100% stock motor and tranny. Nothing has been touched, still racking up miles. So for anyone that doesn't think the GM stuff will hold up, this thing is passing the test. Over 30k miles on it now! These Aerochargers rock! Wicked performance for simple little mods.... No Fuel System, No Cam, No Stall......hasn't even had to come into GM for any warranty work! So Props to GM....take care all.

Very impressive! Interested to see more data on your website on the install and the little known Aerocharger turbos. They are interesting in that the VNT spools quickly but I thing the jury is still out on reliability.

The car is an Austrailian made car. Sorry bud. But they really got this one right. Bob Lutz saw how sweet this car was and brought it to the US. To bad Pontiac went away. I fell lucky to own one. (G8 GXP 6M) its now called Project Blade. Making 650 HP. A couple other guys here in the US are even making more power than that. Great car!
Great choice on the Valentine 1 for the Radar Detector on that thing. It annoys the hell out of me to see high performance vehicles with a $40 Crapra ESD series detector.
so, in my screen saver slideshow i have some stupid one i made in paint and it says "dang son". and right at the end of the video when you finished the pass "dang son" popped up and i'd say that's about right. cool car.

this model is a holden commodore first & pontiac made the G8 after it with a few changes
type in "2010 holden HSV GTS " its a supercharged holden witch is only sold in Australia
but some lower models are now in the U.S & england

Wow...that's really on the stock fuel system? I wonder what the injector duty cycle is. You guys could make quite a bit more power with a bigger pump and injectors assuming that those stock injectors are maxed out.

the only thing i would worry about is th trans and the half shafts and maybe the axles, trans could last Very long with a shift kit and a big cooler the other two depends on your right foot.
IIRC that blowere has an IC too so coold boost = Win and safe & happy engine
don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure twin turbos kicks your warranty out the window.
If that rear end is lsd, consider it fried, cooked and well done.
my bestfriend has an 09 g8 gt that we just fully built over this past winter. port, polish, gasket matched heads, 7 angle valve job with upgraded springs and valves, arp headstuds, weisco 9.9:1 pistons, mahle rods and mahle forged balanced crank. 1 7/8th kooks headers to a borla x pipe and to top if all off hes running the Lsa supercharger with a 2.45 pulley and the overdrive pulley for 17-18psi all tuned on e85. also has built trans stage 5 rear axles, aluminum driveshaft and 3.27 rear end. numbers were 941whp and 820 ft lbs. it runs much faster than low 11's with radials in the rear lmao
has the stage 3 cam as well. had to get the block honed out to fit it. full weight vehicle with camaro 20's and bc coilovers basically slammed to the ground will run high to mid 9s depending on weather. with a 100 shot of giggle gas and smaller rear wheels with better tires and optimal weather conditions we expect to see high to mid 8's just under 1200hp

AHHH I see that right at the end on reduced boost 12.03 secs lol at the start runs 11.10 then 11.00 secs.

Hopefully, by the time the get here, I'll be in a position to buy one. I wouldn't turn down an LS2/^spd GTO or G8 GXP, either, though.
The INTENSE g8 gt owned by Scott Cook runs i think 870 hp to the crank on pump gas "93 octane from sonoco" lol

i love my pontiac grand prix gtp they need to bring back the grand prix. if buick can make a comback with cars i know pontiac can

Intense Racing ran mid tens in mid 09. That car I think the owner said it maid something like 730whp.

Your moden S/C kits have bypass valves. Its not always under boost...

May I advise you to have a look at the hsv and give some thoughts on the design? of some Australian engineering :)

@wildwildwest1414 ,,,Mate, sorry to say, the Pontiac G8 is 100% Aussie. Designed, engineered and built in Oz. Check the buildplates, look up Holden Commodore or HSV Clubsport. We've had the car for years. Because Holden is a subsidiary of GM, they have re badged the car for Pontiac.
How long did the stock drive shaft an axles hold up
@houseofboost u made tha much on stock everything except for exhaust n turbo system damn nasty! How much is tha turbo set up? N have u done n engine rebuilds on the gt yet with higher tq converter gears and trans set ups.. If so what type power n numbers is it pullin?

oh yeh my bad I thought this was a GXP because thats what I searched for but the G8 GXP does have 415bhp STOCK!
I've seen them beat M5 on youtube stock.
but this car is just a GT with like 300 somthing HP stock.

what gas is being used? Doubting those numbers on pump gas, but a man can dream.

im not sure what the fastest g8 is anymore but i do know that a guy nammed parrish has a g8 gt with a twin turbo kit and tuning that has run 10.80s.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but my stepdad owns the adm gxp which is now running 760 rwhp and its tuned down so I think he good smash this thing it easily runs mid 9s
This video is from 2008, at the time it was the fastest G8 in the US. There are many many faster G8's now. However check out the comment below. :)
yeah with the right engine, this is a V8 in Australia there's a tune shop, that has a twin turbo kit for the holdens.
I'd say this kit/car's would kill this G8 as their cars around 1000HP or 2000HP I can't remember extactly anyway on the stock gearbox 1st doesn't exist and you have to start off in 2nd even though it'll spin the wheels up 4th gear eay.

hey guys of house of boost , push a gt but most people say ill blow the trans and whatever having such a turbo with a mainly stock car. this set up you have here can it last? or was it only used for the strip? i want to mod this car but without tones and tones of shit.

@BrianDewy You are making it to technical. I own a G8 GT, and I do know where the G8 came from. What I am saying though is that he says G8 not commodore. There is a difference.
this maybe the fastest pontiac gto and it is a great car with so little mods but id like t see how it goes against some of our HSV holdens we have here in Australia there are hsvs here in oz running 10s and with no turbos shit we even have the worlds fastest production ute the HSV maloo with a top speed of 271.44 km/h which is almost 170mph for u imperial people , u should check out a few HSV s for yourself by the way this shaped pontiac is called the VE commodore in Australia
