Darrel shows us his awesome Pontiac G8 pushing over 500hp to the wheels with the help of a Magnuson supercharger that is included in SLP's Firehawk package for the G8. Only 23 G8's received the package making this car a pretty rare ride.
The Pontiac G8 is the North American version of the Australian Holden Commodore.
Something about this guy gives me a feeling that he's not really a car guy, looks more like he should make videos about gaming or something

The dealer we bought our GT from had a G8 Firehawk in the showroom for a few years. Drooled over but never tried to make an offer on it. Still have the GT though!

i put a after market supercharger on my brothers v8 g8 with new muffler system cold air and such and it ended up with around 595 to 625 horse power. depending on what it was set for that day. that car was so fucking powerful. it would freak people out seeing a 4 door stomp their mustang or camero into the dust. amusing to me
I’ve only ever seen one fire hawk g8 my entire life. But we have a TA fire hawk in the garage.

As an 09 G8 GT owner (same Color as yours) that’s all stock and looking for a GXP, I was unaware of the SLP offering! I have a 94 Firehawk #142 and an 04 GTO (with a 6.0 TVS1900 and too many other upgrades to list), I’m going to search for a G8 Firehawk!

They made 250 of them, not 23. Still very rare, and (with inflation) it would have been about $70k today ($56k at the time). Insane performance for now, let alone when it was for sale.

that slow goat the l76 is LS based as it has LS3 heads on basically an ls2 block. And I kinda doubt the Firehawk has dod.

Love ya VE commodore Australian built !! Assembled and built then shipped to the states !! These cars were best known for handling they made these 50/50 body weight ratios , nothing at all American really about this car in fact these cars are everywhere you turn here in Australia 🇦🇺 the front on these on the American version are UGLY !! If you want to be different change back to the Aussie front , the AFM (active fuel management ) on the 2009 model should be removed it’s about as gay as anything it shuts down 4 cylinders after only 60klm/hr however it does give you very good gas mileage for a V8 , these essentially an Aussie V8 not really Pontiac’s these are General Motors assembled under General Motors subsidiary company holden here in Australia VE holden commodores !!

Merry Christmas ! Yes, if it was music? Production value is achieved when the music matches the tone of the video being produced. I guess "whatever that noise" is would match some chick in a G6, but this car is far from a G6. Do you actually listen to whatever that is? And if so, I commiserate
Tim Grover well I like it. And I try to keep the music we use relatively consistent throughout our videos. I could have used some heavy metal or harder music to go along with the obvious v8 muscle car stereotype, but felt like something different. And it seems most people who have watched this video don’t mind the music.
