From the album The Miracle. Love this song for every reason. Yes they were really on a train! Filmed in Cambridgeshire. Thank you for this David. It's such an uplifting song and you would never know that Freddie was starting to be poorly at this time, his voice never faltered. Great reaction again! Love it! 💕💕💕
Hi David, what a great reaction! Not only one of my favorite Queen songs but also one of my favorite videos. Love Freddie running on top of the train and John’s bass driving the song through. You can tell they had so much fun filming this, especially shots of John smiling! Thanks for reposting this today,
I love this video also; I love seeing John smiling; he looks as if he is having a blast -- not to mention his incredible bass lines!! The idea of the train was John & Freddie -- John stated the song had the feel of locomotive and Freddie agreed -- and most importantly the video rocks but the song totally ROCKS!!
This song is so uplifting! You should check out the 22 minute long “making of Breakthru video. The Miracle Express” A lot of behind the scenes action and input from the boys! The woman in this video is Debbie Leng, Roger’s girlfriend at the time and the mother of his 3 younger children.
I'm glad you have done a reaction to Breakthru. It is just one of those songs that never seems to get reacted to, but is well deserved. By this time (1989), Freddie's health was in decline so for him to pull out this performance shows you how phenomenal a singer he was. Along with another Deakie Bassline and a Brian May solo, this is one awesome song.
When I first got into Queen as a 13 year old in 1999, this was one of my favourites of theirs. It's still a favourite to this day - an under-rated CLASSIC!
They do always have a good intro David one of my favourites is the rehearsal video of LIAR 1973 Great reaction Freddie just incredible. The whole band just fabulous.
Yes! This is a must see video co- written by Freddie and Roger. Not many people notice the cloud of dust at the end of the video forms what appears as a white dove. A real jewel by Queen.❤
Brian's hair blowing in the wind is so totally ROCKSTAR! The bassline on this is fabulously solid and Freddie's voice is spot on. Roger is keeping it going in the back, how does he do that while cruising on a moving train? The train was John Deacon's idea and Queen was able to find a train that they could rent and paint so the train was a go. This song has catchy hook and it breaks into my head for no reason quite often. Thanks for a great reaction.
This and Don't stop me now always make me feel like I could fly, like anything is possible, so upbeat. Think I'll re-watch it! Wishing you success and good health in the new year David, thank you for all the videos you've reacted to your enthusiasm is fun to watch.
Aww John !! What a class act on every level I miss his little dance Undoubtedly one of THE best bass players ever He was always my fav (apart from Fred ) much underestimated by non queen folk xx 💋
Another great one is let me live. I THINK that this was his penultimate recording before his death. Brian and Roger also have a verse each and the chorus is really strong. I’d definitely recommend it
This song is underrated. I love the way Freddie sings this song and he sings The hell out of it. Don't get me started on that base. The background vocals do sound like an R&B group and I love that chorus too! I wish I was rocking on that train with them! I most certainly would!
Queen were conscious about making their intros punchy after their first single - Keep Yourself Alive - was rejected by BBC Radio 1. They rejected it because 'it took too long to get going'. (I guess that Brian's awesome, phased guitar build up would have been wasted on Radio 1 listeners anyway!) So they took that feedback on board, and from then on most of their songs (especially the singles) 'got going' really quickly.
Another from the mighty pen of Roger Taylor. Bar the choir intro titled "A New Life Is Born" by Freddie, but they just coupled the two together. Had the uncut PD of this. Wished I'd kept it.
Thank you David lovely reaction to an amazing song Freddie was getting poorly by this point but you would never believe it the boys had so much fun this was off the miracle album please react to the miracle so sweet and touches your heart good to see you David take care x x
Check this link Dave ruclips.net/video/hzMUjJi6HeU/видео.html Freddies command to the crowd it's the best iv ever heard his voice is so powerful in this actually think it's better than the live aid one. I'm sure it's 33 minutes in after it's a hard life. Queen live in japan 85. You'll defo be jacking it back a few times🤣 Dave Booth👍
The first part upto a NEW LIFE IS BORN line is from another song Freddie decided to use as a intro to this one . I THINK its called a New Life is Born though I could be wrong there, there is a demo of it floating about . Its a slow ballard type song
I enjoy seeing your 'young man' naive attitude to 'the past'! Like saying that the effects in the video were 'cutting edge' and such! This video was made like 12 years after Star Wars man! There's nothing cutting edge to this video, but I love that you see things from before your time with a mixed up idea of timelines and events! Don't get me wrong, I was the same with all the things before my time too! Like discovering that 'dubbing' has been around since the 50s, and breakbeats go back to Bangra and Bollywood movies from the 1940s, that Michael Jackson didn't even come close to inventing the moonwalk, but it goes back to the 1920s and so on... Bohemian Rhapsody was not even anywhere near being the first 'music video' - just seen as the first used to promote a song instead of the artist performance. I'm not taking the per, I genuinely love seeing those innocent little comments you make that show you still have a lot to discover about the last century of entertainment! Keep going cos it's a great journey!
Love this catchy tune by Queen!! John slappin’ the bass!! My favorite part of the video besides the song is Freddie smiling during the verse “Your smile speaks books to me” 🎶 FYI - The intro “A New Life Is Born” exits as a demo in bootleg form … written by Freddie!! The woman in the intro is Debbie Leng, Roger’s girlfriend!!
I love so much this song, it has been very important for me. I recommend you to react to We Are The Champions from Hammersmith Odeon 1979. I know is a common song but is the best performance (he hits a non-falsetto C5)!
Thanks for the re-upload. Love this one. The boys all having fun and Freddie's vocals incredible. Have you done any of the rock n roll medleys they did in concert? They would do a medley of their favorite old rock n roll songs by other artists at every concert, I believe. Here is the link to one of my favs from early Queen,1977 ruclips.net/video/z0k8tMSgVww/видео.html
HI David, this song has more in common with Don Henley's 'Boys of Summer' than a Tina Turner track. They even have the same chords in the chorus. I don't know if Roger (who wrote the up-tempo part) did that on purpose or accidently. I don't mean to say he stole something or that the songs look alike, but it's a nice thing to know. Great song and video. Thank you for your reaction.
hi my friend.. i want to raccomend you 3 songs from live at wambley 12. july 1986..these are A kind of magic, crazy little thing called love and hammer to fall... remember, 12 july, not 11 ;) have fun, you'll have =)
it really annoys me when people write 'freddie mercury and Queen', as if john, roger and brian were fred's backing band! they were all equally as important to the band's stability and without any one of them there was no Queen! 👑✊🇬🇧
All 4 Queen members were grinning throughout the video. Legend is that John's bass was powering the train
Always loved Breakthru, John's bass line thumping and Freddie's vocals, unmatched.
BEST GROUP EVER ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

massive Queen fan here David and I absolutely love your channel 100% genuine reactions keep up the good work man 👏👍
This song is a gem!!💎 I usually listen to it while I'm driving!😍
And how fast are you going. Definitely a highway song with the windows down and music turned up
If you liked the introduction for this song, then you’d definitely love the introduction to It’s a Hard Life
I love that intro, with the 'borrow' from Pagliacci! Just so powerful! Freddie's love of opera showing to great effect.
This song is so uplifting! You should check out the 22 minute long “making of Breakthru video. The Miracle Express” A lot of behind the scenes action and input from the boys! The woman in this video is Debbie Leng, Roger’s girlfriend at the time and the mother of his 3 younger children.
Love that the old NEVault reactions are slowly being reuploaded. The music definitely had to be a moving train video.

The best songs grab you with the first note and won't let you go till 1 hour after the song ended.
And Queen had that down to an art.
Happy New Year David, lovely to see you so early and with Freddie
Happy New Year David.
It was great seeing you again .
Thank you for another wonderful reaction 💕💕
Great upbeat way to start the new year! Thanks for sharing this one again! 😃👍👏👏👏
Wow! This is the first time I've heard the whole thing through! Really loved it! Great reaction!
