Michael had surgery on his vocal chords when his voice changed as he grew up to get back the voice that had made him famous as a child. Amazing that it didn’t ruin his voice. 😅 RIP Michael & Freddie❤

Michael most certainly did have surgery on his vocal chords when he was a young man to return his ability to hit the high notes. Listen to his music from childhood to adulthood. It was his idea and it did save his career.

I always thought this version was different when compared to the version that Freddie did on the solo album. The sound and voice sound very different. One is smooth, the other is rougher, but both are great.
