Because of your vids I have a refurbed 1962 nickel gillette slim adjustable in the mail to me from Razor Emp.. This is my first vintage purchase and is similar to what my Dad used back in the day. Really looking forward to it! Appreciate your passion for our hobby.

@TheSicilianShaver WOW!!! The lather of that shaving soap looks so heavenly. How's the sickness? I'm guessing it makes the razor cut through the hair with ease.

It really depends what type of shave soap you like...Citrus, Cologne Based or Gourmand? A great start for razor is the Rovkwell 6C with an Astra Green blade, use the #2 or #3 plate to start. I have a full video on it.

@TheSicilianShaver, of all the artisan soaps out there, like RazoRock XXX, Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus, and Sterling's Piacenza, which would you say comes closest to the scent of this product? I have a bottle of the real Acqua di Parma Colognia, and I love it, however, I would love to have matching shave products as well. The price for this is a bit steep for my liking, that's why I am looking more towards artisan soaps. Thanks, and great video!

Nothing really compares to the real Acqua Di Parma. That said, I also own Italian Citrus from Fine Accoutrements and it's close and that would be my recommendation. Thanks for watching and the comments

Hi, awesome shave! How much water do you generally use with it? I struggle to get a nice consistency. So far I mainly tried with a very wet brush but maybe I should use less or more water. Thanks!

Absolutely...go slow with water, gradually add it until you get the lather you like. If you go to heavy with water it's going to be a struggle and more than likely a waste of incredible shave cream. Hope this helps.
