Years ago my ex wife's cousin played piano in Hank jr.band..his name was Warren Keith and that's him in this video..back then they were known as The Cheating heart specials..I got to meet Hank several times..he was very young and on one occasion he took members of his father's band on tour and they played most of his old songs..my favorite part of the show was when they played Coliga..Hank played every instrument during the song..later he fired the entire band and started his solo career..that's when he fell while mountain climbing out west..he made an amazing comeback and became a huge star in country music..Warren Keith and Hanks lead guitarist Lamar went on to write lots of songs for other country artists..Warren played piano for Billy thundercloud..another country artists..sadly Warren died of a heart attack in the late 70s in Nashville..he was a great piano player and would often come home to play in clubs in our area of southern Michigan..his playing style was similar to Jerry Lee Lewis
Most likely not on you tube because I have seen so many of my friends in the past post Hee Haw and were thrown off due to copyright but may do it on Internet Archive .org in the future. I own over 85% of the Hee Haw episodes.
Buck Owens, Waylon, Roy Clark, and Hank Jr. That is quite the lineup, they don't make them like that anymore.
They just don't make music like this anymore. It's great that we have these old videos.
I agree How Great they were.clean Guitar sound and good songs I think the year was 1968

Wow, amazing line-up! Hank Jr and Waylon look so young! LOL The gospel song at the end is nice too. ❤
Crazy, a clean-shaven Hank JR and Waylon and a bearded Roy Clark. They look so different back then, Hank and Waylon.
T he drummer's left hand is a force unto itself.
Don Rich was the baddest cat on the planet so cool

Just after Willie Cantu departed.
