Hey guys thank you so much for the video. I think this has been an issue I have been dealing with for a long time and didn't know it. My tibialis anterior has been incredibly tight for a while and foam rolling doesn't seem to release it. Just recently I have been getting inflammation, tightness in my quad, and a pulling or tightening sensation to the left of my patella and I'm trying to figure out if this is related. It's not necessarily pain but prevents me from using my knee. Do you recommend going to see a doctor or just going to physical therapy? By any chance do you guys have any associates you trust and work with in the upstate New York area? All the best!
Or I should say what steps should be taken to correct the problem ? I'm a 19 y/o Basketball player and it tends to bother me when I do certain motions. Such as jumping and what not. The pain in my knee arises after jumping
Great question! Hard to say exactly without a full examination. But in general, gaining core stability, hip strength and ankle mobility are a great start.
