What's Holding You Back from Seeking PROFESSIONAL Help?
I am currently 16 and have just gotten my third concussion from MMA, I try and space out the times I spar and take hard hits, but none of them have been that bad, like no vomiting or fainting, do you feel I should take a break from doing MMA sparing and taking shots, or will there be no long term effects on my adolescent brain. I perform well in school and have never really struggled, but do you feel that I will have long-term effects from this if I continue sparing?
Thank you for reaching out but it is hard to say Dylan. Have you been thoroughly evaluated for your concussions from a medical professional? How did you do decide when you were going back to practice after each of your concussion?
@ Only 1 concusion got diagnosed the rest I just walked off, but I waited around 2-3 weeks until I slowly got back into working out and doing MMA.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, this was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Do the air compressors supply %100 co2 or just air
Air Compressors deliver the "regular" air to the chamber (which consists of 21% Oxygen and 78% Nitrogen).... while Oxygen Concentrators extract Nitrogen from the air helping to deliver higher levels of Oxygen to the person inside the chamber. The CO2 is more a waste product after the person breathes in air/oxygen and exhales it out.
is that not lumbar rotaion?
Ideally... you want to isolate it to Thoracic Rotation as much as possible. By keeping your your shoulder blades stuck to the ground and engaging your core, you will better your chances. The exercise stops when your one of your shoulder blades comes off the floor or you feel strain or arch at your lower back.
Do you do neruofeedback in the chamber ?
We refer our clients to vitalbrainhealth.com/ and they do their neurofeedback there. There are however apps and more portable devices that some people use, we are just not as familiar with them. Hope that helps!

Will this work with Cancer....bladder, colon, and prostate cancer?
We've seen improvement with many of the symptoms and impairments associated with cancer. It's always recommended to speak with your oncologist to figure out the best combination for you. This may be a helpful link to find out it may be a good synergy with other therapies: www.hyperbaricmedicalsolutions.com/conditions/non-covered/cancer-treatment-synergy

We are looking forward to seeing an awesome fight! We are just excited he is using HBOT as part of his prep!
What ATA are you using?
Looking at his OneBase Health Chamber... it goes up to 2.0 ATA
yeah, the right side of my back is more toned than the left, where the muscle tone is almost nonexistent. This imbalance suggests that my functional scoliosis, with an 11-degree curve, is likely caused by the stronger right side pulling my spine out of alignment.
Thank you for sharing your story. Depending where you are located, would potentially be beneficial to get an assessment to help dive into your pas medical history & figure out any underlying imbalances or impairments that may be contributing to your current state. Best of luck to you!
I get chronic trigger point pain and the massage ball helps to lower the symptoms. Can I do this exercise everyday?
Thank you for your question! We typically recommend performing any type of aggressive soft tissue work every other day or every two days. However, the most important thing is figuring out why you are having these symptoms in the first place. Through a proper evaluation and treatment, identifying the underlying issues and targeting them accordingly would be a great next step for you. Yes thank you!
This looks like an amazing environment to work at, very friendly and approaching. I especially liked Dr. Jason’s advice to his younger self, to be patient and give grace when things are not going exactly as planned. But learn from the mistakes.
Thank you so much for your feedback and comments! Dr. Jason & Dr. Kelli really love this team and we will be sure to pass on this message to them.
Good evening, I did all the things listed during my therapy last week however, my ears have been feeling clogged every since and nothing I'm doing is helping. This was my second therapy. I had no problems with my first one.
Hi! We are sorry to hear this. Are you a client of ours or are you at a different facility? It can be a multitude of factors such as if you dealing with a head cold or sinus issues? Another thing could be associated with the specific pressure you are using the chamber at.
Thanks for sharing your advice
Our pleasure!
We are 16 people.. we goes hospital for Hyperbaric ocycen thraphy 6 days in a week.. i have 20 session.. i finished 10 sesssion today.. i am not felling neggative ör possitive effect.. İs it enought 20session for Longevity? Thanks for your answer doc.
Thank you for your question. Everyone is a bit different in their response and it depends on a variety of factors. You can check out this video which may help! ruclips.net/video/_PdV-jEpfLI/видео.htmlsi=55ozb-IiVs4fogXL
Wow
It's great!
How many sessions per month should you do the HBOT?
It depends on what your doctor prescribes, but consistency is key to achieve the best results.
@@healthfitla ah ok. Thanks 🙏
Interesting video. I've been wondering about this myself. I regularly use red light therapy and have been looking into HBOT. As I understand it, red light can knock nitric oxide out of the mitochondria which allows oxygen to dock causing an increase in ATP. If that's correct, then I would think the increased oxygen concentration during or perhaps immediately after HBOT would potentially make oxygen more readily available to dock during a red light therapy session. I'd love to see some studies done on this.
We love to see some studies on the combination too! So many variables to control for but anecdotally, we have seen the stack of these two modalities as beneficial for a number of our clients.
Don't understand last part of instruction can you explain more clearly?
If you decrease the weight of the kettlebell or dumbbell you are holding on to, it helps make the exercise more difficult. This is because you have less weight to counterbalance with. For instance holding onto rather heavy like a couch or no weight at all... has a huge effect on the exercise. Hope that helps!
@@healthfitla so no weight is harder correct.thanks a lot for answering.
@@kevinmorden9767 You got it! :)
Does extra oxygen increase VEGF?
Thank you for your comment. According to this study... HBOT may help in increasing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK482485/
@@healthfitla What would that do to people with macular degeneration?
@@mballer It may help... pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20462142/
@@healthfitla Thank you. That looks to be one dive. The reason I asked is doctors normally give anti VEGF shots into the eye for macular degeneration and if HBOT increases VEGF it seems to be opposite of what they try to do. I still am confused about this.
Hi, it actually seems like a forward trunk lean will be a little better for the front knee because the center of gravity is directly over the front ankle, rather than behind it--so the "moment arm" between the knee and the force vector is shorter. And the front glute gets a little more of a stretch so there is a little more stimulus to that muscle. Right? If I'm missing something, let me know! :)
Great feedback Chrissie! In general, we advocate for a slight trunk lean where you are essentially parallel to the shin of the lead leg. Yes you can definitely lean forward more to get more glute activity, but often times we see clients compensate by excessively sheering there lead knee forward, which leads to less load sharing during the squat movement. Everyone's body is a bit different, and it's great to individualize the exercise to the person and what you are trying to target. Thank you for you the comment!
Thank you for the clarification!
@@chrissietsaturyan6386 Absolutely! Are there any other videos or tips you would like us to create in the future?
Is that transfering the pressure from the shoulder to the hip?
Yes in a way... With the pillow placement, it will help decrease the amount of load on the shoulder, dispersing more shared pressure to the side of your trunk and hip. Hope it helps!
My natural medicine practice began after graduation from chiropractic school in 1977; acupuncture was added in 2000 along with functional and environmental medicine. After discovering HBOT recently, this amazing tech was also added to the menu. Having a chamber in my home office, I can use it on a regular basis, and after learning about the myriad of benefits for age-related illness, my older patients can also use it, or purchase a chamber for their home, which is what I recommend. Great video, thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you for sharing your story and expertise! If you are interested, you can always view our brand of chambers at www.onebasehealth.com which are backed by world renown hyperbaric medicine doctor, Scott Sherr.
Does this work on obstructive sleep Apnea
It potentially may!... something to explore with your medical provider: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3578679/
Did you notice people having a good sleep and starting having problem to fall aslpeep or getting awake too early after a few sessions of hyperbaric session 1.5 ATA ?
Should I use a soft chamber or a hard chamber for HBOT? I’m going into cosmetic surgery this week and I’m not sure what’s better?
If you have access to a hard chamber which are a bit more from a price standpoint, it packs more healing power... also depends how you tolerate the higher pressures as well. On the flip side, we've also seen some incredible results with our soft chambers too! Need to keep the frequency up too in order to obtain the cumulative effect... just like working out :)
Ideally, it depends on what your doctor recommends. You will experience similar results from either chamber, but if you are looking for faster results then a hard chamber would be ideal.
how far do i bend my legs down? i usually go all the way down until my buttocks touch me legs. is that good or bad?
In general, you should go far as you can while maintaining a stable trunk... especially if you are carrying some type of weight. The hips, knees and ankles moving in unison. Hope that helps!
i’m combining hyper Bare oxygen therapy with Bpc 157 game changer
Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thank you for this video :) Question: can you recommend an oxegyn mask ? I bought a hard chamber for my home. I use a cannula but would like to try a mask but unsure which one to use ? TY🙏
Yes, absolutely. This is what we use for our clients: amzn.to/3xKvQe8

Great to see this is becoming more normalized. Can a test there is huge benefits to HBOT.
Thank you for sharing your story. We agree, the more information we can put out there... hopefully more will learn about its benefits.
Great video, thanks!

Where is this procedure available?
This is available here at our facility in Pasadena, CA. healthfitinc.com/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy-chamber-treatment
I do MMA and acquired an HBOT. I recover very fast, my power and muscle mass is increasing considerably. I am loving it.
We love stories like this. Keep it up and best of luck with your training!
My chiropractor has a Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, but my chiropractor won't let me get in it even though I've gotten clearance from my Dr. They're worried because I'm chronically on a home ventilation, with a trach that is connected to a portable ventilator. They're worried about putting me in, and doing a treatment on me. So I had to abandon the whole idea. I'm terminally ill, have neurogenic bladder, have many neurological conditions, have to be catheterized because of neurogenic bladder, have heart problems, have neuromuscular weakness, and many many other conditions, and I just thought this might help me, but the Chiropractor isn't even thinking about letting me try it. So I had to give up the idea!
We are so sorry to hear you are experiencing this health condition. We wish you the best in your health and recovery.
Hbot & red light therapies SIMULTANEOUSLY, meaning, red lights in oxygen chamber???
There's actually two options. You can utilize red light before or after your HBOT session. We also have a portable unit that are clients can take into the chamber during use as well.
A cool video 😎😎
Thank you! We are trying :)
