- The Three Degrees was one of the greatest girl groups of the 70s. This is a live performance of Year Of Decision (culled from their self titled debut album on Philadelphia International Records) while being guests on the Cliff Richard show. Enjoy!!!
Its amazing that only 3 women could make such a beautiful sound..Talented beyond words. Love this era..It saddens my heart that its all gone...
This is my favourite track from these lovely soulful ladies it has all the ingredients to make you get up and dance, the harmonics and passion in the vocals are just outstanding
I am a huge supremes fan....ask anyone! BUT this group is brilliant! I bought all their records....loved the 1979 album and the moroder reworking, but this song is my favourite. I loved it on the album and love it now. such great singing and harmonies.
Good to hear Fayette belting out on this one.
2016 and still listening to the Fabulous Three Degrees...
I'm listening in 2019

jesus.....what voices!!! I was 13 at the time and already wild of these girls talents.... I remember the happyness listening to the sound.... Great!
Yes, they are REAL Soul Sistahs! Nobody could come anywhere close to the originality and enthusiasm to what these Sistahs had performed in their time!
RIP for one who is no longer with us!
I love this song. Thanks for posting it.
This is my favorite Three Degrees song....Great live version shown here..
TSOP amazing! Great harmonies and a slice of 70's soul...
"Come on and join us please". Pure pop magic. Theme song for a life, theme song for 2014, for a happier healthier Scotland.
absolutely brilliant.
Love this love
Fayette Pinkney, who I think was the lady in the middle, passed away about eight weeks ago, aged 61, from an asthma attack. After leaving the group she gained a masters degree and became a psychiatrist and grief counsellor.
A fine singer who plainly had a range of different talents, and by all accounts a
lovely lady. RIP and thanks for your bit of the soundtrack of my life.
It must have been 3 sad people with no soul to not like this, well you cant please everyone. very classy ladies and very very talented.

wonderful song...beautiful girls........
I FINALLY figured out the those obscure lyrics after "Oh we need everybody to succeed (everbody to suceed, everybody..." It's: "We're just like soldiers in an army, c'mon, and join us please.." Whew, all the lyrics on the internet said otherwise said "soul isn't enough hey, c'mon.." Those just didn't fit.
Thanks for posting this clip!!!!
Good Lord........Sheila Ferguson was STACKED
She fuelled quite a few fantasies back in the day.
Eu sou fã desse trio de mulheres lindas
Great outfits, why cant women these days wear these, style and class.
The best line up….Fay, Val and Sheila…

They were so wonderful. I wonder, what ever became of them, as people? Are they still around?
Three Foxy Ladies "Indeed".

@bjhaus Fayette would be on the left. Sheila is in the middle and singing lead. On the right, is Sheila.
