The intro vaguely reminds me of destroy the orcs from 3 Inches Of Blood. I'm not mad about it, aside from UTA, thats my top favorite. LONG LIVE CANADIAN METAL!

Every time I find a new female-fronted metal band I have to compare them to Epica, and usually I'm disappointed. But I'm pleasantly surprised here. I really like their stuff!

yeah i'm with you love both of those bands. Cripper is a really good smaller band, but the singer is better than angela of arch enemy. The songs sang by anna in eluveitie are also really nice

I'd like nothing more than to agree with you, the girl from Epica has an amazing voice, but the band that supports her is quite lack luster and really doesn't move me. Unleash the Archers are 100x more Metal and is like a kick in the nuts compared to Epica, simply because the guys behind the vocalist have some serious shreds and add some brutal back up vocals.
Lacuna Coil is the BEST female fronted metal band in the world....Unleash the Archers are moving up the list...!!

It feels like it's lacking power or something...
In all honesty, you're probably just not used to hearing raw voices. Her voice sounds like it has basically NO filters, effects, or anything on it during recording, causing it to sound very raw. That's a guess of course, since I don't do vox or recording, but that's my best guess. it took me a little bit, but I quickly started really liking her voice :P

+Catrina B Yes :) She's amazing. Although I feel like they over-emphasised her vocals on the latest single (at least compositionally) to compensate and I'm not a fan. It's perfect here on Defy the Skies :)
