Crystal Palace destroyed Man UTD today and I don't fancy our chances against them or Liverpool if I'm being honest.
Palace look really good/potentially lethal going forward.
Love the ending. The City is OURS! I also got up early to watch all Championship matches via the BBC live feed. Morning time for them, the hostal owners laughed at my celebratory or nervous antics. Must be on a similar time line to you Peter. Back in Lima on Thursday to watch the match in comfort. Up the MIGHTY Villa!
Great show as always Pete, thank you. I understand Midfielders and attackers being ‘tired’ but centre-backs (inc Pau) not passing even reasonably accurately is something I don’t get? I’m going to be more controversial by stating that we are very vulnerable and have been all season in central defence. We don’t win enough in the air from set pieces, which I think leads to problems/goals against. Based on defending form, I wouldn’t have a problem with Carlos or Pau being replaced…..

We were tired against Bournemouth, we were EXHAUSTED against Brighton...
We're so far away from picking our best side in their best positions now with what 8? important players out and exhaustion kicking in I will forgive them anything.
Let's just get this 4th spot over the line, anything else is a bonus. The players and the manager are all heroes in my book for the season they've had under such extreme circumstances with injuries.
Next season we will go on to achieve even bigger and better things when we have a full and better squad to select from, with a few Unai/Monchi additions.

@@jimmypopt.v.3037 I think of all the first team players he might be the one to go, just a gut feeling. To be honest, of all the big names he's the one I would least worry about losing.
I'd want us to add to the squad ideally, but selling might be necessary. So if the price was right, I'd wish him luck and put my trust in the recruiting team to find an equally good replacement for less than Luiz's sale value.

We had 2000 Olympiacos supporters at Villa Park last week and there were no incidents of hostility or whatsoever. All the other Villa bloggers had to say a good word for our fans except you that you decided to spread hate from your vlog.

Getting a result against Palace or Liverpool is going to be tough. Tottenham will win two of their last 3 for sure. It’s going to be tight; especially if they get something from their game with Man City at home.

You say 9 players needed but we have 9 players on injury list. With a full squad I reckon we would of been closer to the top
True, but although our injuries have been rough this year (especially looking at the significance of the long-term ones) so have a few other clubs', and you can't expect to go through a season with no injuries. We need to be able to cope with an injury list like this and still be up for games.

It feels really harsh for a game to have been decided by such light contact even if there was any real contact. But it has to be said and De Zerbi himself said, this wasn’t a real Villa performance. We just look so lifeless and the stats back up the fact that Brighton deserved the points on attempts alone. We got battered in all but goals.
