Yeah, who would have thought he’s a competent conversationalist? Then again it’s what he’s been doing for decades now, though the flavor was always on the less serious side.
It's amazing to see how Jared's career just keeps evolving and peaking in the latter stages. Truly one of the most solid and versatile actors around these days, which the amount of Emmy nominations also speak volumes of
Jared Harris' voice is goals and he is an amazing actor...Richard Harris was just ...one of those men...one of those actors... that you could not resist even if you tried your outmost best...he could capture you completely...he made you follow him...obey him...whatever he did ...whatever he said...
I adore Richard Harris, and yet, never knew he had a son that is an actor! Its so heartwarming to know that there is another Harris taking the torch 😊 He is clearly different, his own man, yet the mutual characteristics are there and are so pleasing
I had been thinking that he is not like his father(Richard,my most favourite actor). But when I heard him sing in"Game of shadows",I recognized he had been given beautifl voice from his father(Im Japanese please forgive my poor English)
Excellent English you do from a Welsh man 🏴 😂🎉❤we’re the wart to the left of England all green hills and valleys 😂welcome to Wrexham on Disney channels
I love all Richard Harris movies. My two favourites are Juggernaut and The Cassandra Crossing. Jared's acting in Chernobyl was excellent. I felt him channelling his father in that performance, as if I was watching Richard perform the part.
I think I met him in the Bahamas, came into the Casino with his father who sat next to me and played Baccarat. He was probably in his twenties, he looked 14 years old. Red hair. Richard had a house in Nassau.
The older he gets the more he morphs into his Father, it's poignant that he is now filming apple TVs The Foundation in his fathers native city, and played a vet in an Animated movie Angelas christmas set in Limerick
Hated his character on Mad Men, which is really the mark of a great actor. Actors who can provoke emotion of any kind have my admiration and respect. P.S. I never knew till now that his dad was Richard Harris either.
@@TheGamerThing Yes that was my point. If an actor can play his part so well that you hate the character, then the actor has done a great job - as Jared has clearly done,
Actors from Great Britain or Ireland seem to have such a different "upbringing" and professional education than actors from the USA. British and Irish actors seem to be much better educated and deeper in their craft. Not to say that American actors are not great, but there`s a different quality with British, Irish or generally with European actors and actresses.
For fig's sake! I've been under a rock! All this time I've watched Jared, and I didn't know he was Richard's son!
Me too!!
Lmao! Me to lads. And he looks and sounds like him. How did i not catch it smj. Crazy crazy. This is awesome.
Me too!!!!!!!!
🙋🏼♀️ same.
I was watching Chernobyl and when Jared opened his mouth Richard's voice came out.
Hats off to Tom Green for letting the actor speak without unnecessary interjections and speed reading through the questions.

Like father like son! I love both if them.❤
I forget Jared Harris was Richard Harris's son... because of how great an actor Jared is literally in every role.

Yes, very well said!
...DRUNK?!? Just look at Peter...O ;-D
He has his fathers giggle. Love it.
Indeed!!! That’s absolutely fantastic
Jarred brings happiness to the screen

My favorite actor nowadays, like father like son.
honesty i think he is a great actor the fact that richarc is his father for me came later and is like a bonus

Today Commemorates Richard Harris' 90th Birthday
loved him in the terror, the expanse, and chernobyl. one of my favorite actors.
He really should of played young Dumbledore
@joshwhatofit --- *should HAVE
(Submitted with all due respect because WORDS MATTER)
I loved Jude Law's Dumbledore but I'll never stop wondering how Jared Harris would have been like in that role.
Except those films are just a bunch of soulless cash grabs and not worthy of the great Jared Harris
@@TheGreatestVoice1958 my brother in christ jared harris literally was in morbius
@@mannahatta_mannahatta I didn't know that, a shame for sure. But my original comment still stands.

He kinda looks like Sting now, lol!
Mnaah! I need him in 'The Expanse' ALAS....the books etc. :-(
Loved his role in Last of the Mohicans.
Tom Green asking serious questions? wow.. kudos.
Jesus! Wait a minute! Is this the SAME Tom Green from the MTV show from the late 90s/early 2000's???
THAT Tom Green?
Came here for some Jared Harris. Left here going "was that TOM GREEN after like 10 years??"
I’m actually thoroughly impressed. He was always smart but chose the comedy routine he should do this full time now for sure.
He sounds like his dad!
Yep they have the same Irish accent
Professor James Moriarty
His dad sang MacArthur Park and played Dumbledore in Harry Potter. Talk about a cool dad
Looks exactly and even exactly sounds like his father.
R.I.P. Larry King
Tom Green....sure! Imagine Norm Macdonald?!
What movies r the other two brothers in if they followed in acting like the great Richard harris?? Such a handsome family!!
fantastic
Jared Harris did a perfect Hodge in Mortal Instruments.
Sounds so like his father
How his father had an Irish accent
Jared is quality
I hear his dad in his voice.
Tom Greens interview style, not great, not terrible.
This Larry King guy is pretty good.
Green is a legend
King was more of a legend
And Harris and O’Toole were Uber legends
Had no idea
Larry is looking well for his age
Is he from Mad Men?
If one watches his dad’s earlier movies, at times he sounds similar to his son.
Larry King morphed into Tom Green.
I wonder if Richard Harris ever mentioned his son in an interview
Hated his character on Mad Men, which is really the mark of a great actor. Actors who can provoke emotion of any kind have my admiration and respect.

Dont think you are meant to hate Lane though?
@@TheGamerThing Yes that was my point. If an actor can play his part so well that you hate the character, then the actor has done a great job - as Jared has clearly done,
I didn't hate Lane. He just made bad decisions.

Theater tradition VS movies tradition
Patrick McGoon in what?
Brand, it's a play by Ibsen.
Jared is the better actor, I think. As great as Richard was.
Agree. Jared is a fantastic actor.
I am inclined to agree. Harris was the greater ‘natural’ star, but always Harris. Jared is more of an actor actor.
Ive always liked Jared more than Richard but they are both out of this world
jaysus!! Larry looks horrendous here, must have been near the end! sad :(
Such a shame that Richard Harris could not just be a good dad and support his son
