You probably wouldn't. I have known overs the years a few Poles and even visited the a few parts in the late 1990s when the countries were more positive and outward looking. Even then people had quite reactionary views, were not very welcoming to visitors or saw western visitors as all being rich and would target you for scams, almost as rule food terrible unless you get home cooked meals. I heard it only got worse since from friends who visit regularly to visit family. None would remigrant. Some of the mountain areas are scenic, but the bulk of the place is bleak farmland and villages and endless forests often badly damaged by pollution.
