I'm currently in what I believe to be the middle range of dementia with my mom. My siblings live in other states so they're not available physically. So it does help to express to them that I've hit a rough patch. And need their support. It does help, however impossible for me to escape for a day or over night to camp. But there's always something in-between that can be very upsetting
