    I'm emotional at the moment sir...I used to practice such kind of questions when I was in 12th... subsequently I decided not to pursue the dream of going into this line...due to some personal problems...I miss those days when I used to solve these problems with all my dedication. I got recommended a mathematical PYQ video after 5 years...I can't express in words how sorry I am for leaving this line

    Applying Descartes' rule of signs directly gives us the number of solutions for x is one.

      @@harjotsingh9713 yes. But not in this case..here it directly gives 1. And we also can take a derivative test for repeated roots..that not much work for this problem

      ​​​​@@opps150 phirse dhyan do, socho. Your knowledge is incomplete. Kya bolte hai wo theorem?..agar number of roots reduce hota hai to kiske multiple mein hota hai? Wo yahan apply karke dekho. Kya yahan wo possible hai?..dyan se padho cheeso ko, tumhara hi bhala hoga..agar phir bhi nahin samajh aya, to Wikipedia mein 1st para padhlo. Theorems yuhin nehin kaam karte, kaam karwanewala chahiye bete.

    Sir I got admission into NIT nagpur in 2019 and I dropped out in 2020. 4 years later, today, RUclips randomly recommend this video, and it made me feel so happy, such an easy and understandable explanation, makes me wonder that I used to solve all such maths questions with ease a few years ago, now my brain is all rusty I can't even imagine doing calculus again.😅

    *Denominators are equal and non-zero* (for real x). So, they can be cancelled without changing the problem. It's because { e^(πx) > 0 for all real x. x^2 - x + 3 has b^2 < 4ac so no real roots, and the expression is always positive, with minima at 2x - 1 = 0 or x = 1/2 so x^2 - x + 3 has min value of 3.25 - 0.5 = 2.75 }.
    (sin x + 2) is always positive (non-zero), so the problem can be simplified to - find number of real-roots of { x^2023 + 2024 x + 2025 } which again is a strictly positive function with negative values when x < -1 and strictly positive values when x > -1 (It's 0 at x = -1).
    Hence, for the overall problem, there is *only 1 real root which is x = -1*
