Outstanding, sir. I don't recall ever seeing birds that high and difficult to bring down, but you did. Thank you for bringing your adventures to our screens.
Thanks Jon
Hello Mr. Carrie! This awesome beautiful scenery and your outstanding shooting skills made my day. Thank you for taking me along this journey. Stay safe and as always all the best from Austria 🇦🇹🤠👍
Happy New years to all the folks involved in making these fine videos.🇺🇸🐻
Brilliant stuff as always
Fantastic shooting, always a pleasure to watch people excel at their chosen sport.
Thank you Shaun much appreciated 👌
i had the pleasure of shooting with Giles at Arden, what a top shot he is mind!
Nice hunt Dave
Best birds
Found out about the survey too late. Praying the matter turns in the shooting community's favor. Fools will be with us always, but it's always frustrating when they are making the decisions that affect our lives. Thank you for another great film. God bless.
Well shot sir..
I had a day next door at Dyfi Falls in January. the birds were incredible.
I stood in awe at the height of some of them.
Yet you make it look so easy shooting the stratospheric birds.
Maybe see you on a day somewhere if I'm lucky.
Keep up with the content as its always a pleasure to watch you shoot.
Great videos as always Dave, the continued tradition of our country shooting at an iconic location, solid viewing !!!!
Cheers Robin👍
Glad to see you with your loader again.he must be one of the best in the game.his timing and spacial awareness are as good as it gets.great shooting aswell for you dave .keep them rolling out the sky!
Thanks buddy- the loader is the best, relies on work throughout the shooting season to supplement his farming income 👌one of the drives is actually on his land
Watching from Norway, loved it.

Hello Dave, it was a great looking shot plus some very nice shooting. Thank you for saying how to find the act now survey and I did get it filled in and sent just on time.
Thanks David I appreciate your kind comments 👍
Dave, un placer compartir tus experiencia y tus paisajes, gracias
Great scenery and the food looks top notch. The government is going to ban duck and quail hunting here on public land, deer hunting will be next. We get what we vote for.
Where is "here"?
all done from New Zealand
Cracking video mate 👍👍
Thanks buddy! Appreciated 👍
Well Dave, this one was the polar opposite of your last shoot video with the .410. Those birds looked almost all to be at the maximum and the way you pulled down those high crossers with massive leads was outstanding. All really good guns in that line that day too. I'm not as recoil-resistant as I once was, and I know I'd be feeling those 40 g. (1 3/8 oz?) loads if I shot as many as you did! Survey filled out and submitted, hope it helps in some small way. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks and best regards as always, Ed.
Thanks Ed 👌
Good day Dave, David here I'll try to get in the Webb site too I'm in the States across the pond if I can help I'll do that. I love your tutorials. Just splendid great action of the country-side.....
Thanks mr fox much appreciated 👍
Nice
Great shoot Dave. Usual question from me, choke and why were you swapping mid drive from double guns to stuffing? Keep em coming. Cheers mate.
Dave 👍
N1 Dave😉
Way, way out of my league! I shoot within my ability which for me is a 30-35 yard high bird. My old Boss & Co with an ounce of 6’s does the business! Each to his own! 👍
Dave, 40g cartridges, how’s the recoil with them through an o/u with that number of cartridges being fired?
Not bad just make sure of good recoil pads👍
@@DaveCarrieShooting thank you and survey etc already completed
What ammunition do you throw and weight?
40 grm 3s lead gamebore dark storm quad seal
Shooting 40grms of No.3 shot at a indeterminable distance in the flightpath of the chosen stratospheric bird has to place the risk of wounding ahead of a certain kill. I rather see a better chance of a certain kill and that’s probably inside 40 yard range, mainly because most people are ‘average shots’ and I haven’t heard of any qualification to shoot the very high birds other than having the money.
Very good point and a well put opinion! It’s not for everyone high bird shooting and I’ve certainly seen a distinct lack of respect over these past few years as its been more popularised “by not just the shooters” but estates themselves! Especially noticeable is new high bird shoots opening up and putting birds out of range for even the best of shots, this is what I do not agree with- I myself always try to pick through what I deem as killable- I have a certain skill set built up over years under this type of bird, most people I see in the field are not experienced enough or have the skill level to spot and pick out a killable bird amongst the crowd in the sky! Most of them “the guns” just blazing away at everything.
Thanks for the constructive viewpoint👍
