See that’s just wrong that one person has to cook all the thanksgiving food . It should be, each person has to bring a dish. I make the turkey and stuffing, each person brings a side dish, dessert or drinks . When we get invited, we bring all the wine and beer. Well my husband does. I bring a side dish. Usually my delicious mushrooms. But yes everyone should bring something to make a thanksgiving meal complete. Everyone can’t bring mashed potatoes or a store bought pie. Those who can bake should bake home made pies. But too often ppl show up with nothing. And I end up having to cook the huge turkey, 6 or 7 side dishes and 2-3 different pies all by myself. It takes me all day from 6am. And some of the elderly demand to eat by 3pm. Which is not fair, considering I have to cook all morning and day. So I don’t do thanksgiving anymore . Ppl are too selfish . I always say, when u come for dinner at my house, you eat when dinner is ready. Not when YOU demand it to be ready. And we eat at 6pm and later. Never at 3pm. You don’t like it, don’t come. My husband is different, he wants to please everyone else and cares too much about what other ppl think. I don’t care what ppl think of me. I only care about pleasing God. But I won’t be a slave to anyone anymore.

Everyone decides beforehand what each will bring, so that we can enjoy our time together. I make breakfast burritos with the tortillas dipped in eggs, then add your favorites inside and lightly oil your cast iron and brown all around 😋😜 crispy and delicious! We make them every Christmas morning only because they are so so good and we make so many. Everyone knows we only get them once a year and we can all eat 3 or 4! 😂 you must try when you get a chance. We put inside: cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes and spam(or bacon, sausage whatever you prefer) oh and top with pico de gallo and sour cream!!!

See that’s just wrong that one person has to cook all the thanksgiving food . It should be, each person has to bring a dish. I make the turkey and stuffing, each person brings a side dish, dessert or drinks . When we get invited, we bring all the wine and beer. Well my husband does. I bring a side dish. Usually my delicious mushrooms. But yes everyone should bring something to make a thanksgiving meal complete. Everyone can’t bring mashed potatoes or a store bought pie. Those who can bake should bake home made pies. But too often ppl show up with nothing. And I end up having to cook the huge turkey, 6 or 7 side dishes and 2-3 different pies all by myself. It takes me all day from 6am. And some of the elderly demand to eat by 3pm. Which is not fair, considering I have to cook all morning and day. So I don’t do thanksgiving anymore . Ppl are too selfish . I always say, when u come for dinner at my house, you eat when dinner is ready. Not when YOU demand it to be ready. And we eat at 6pm and later. Never at 3pm. You don’t like it, don’t come. My husband is different, he wants to please everyone else and cares too much about what other ppl think. I don’t care what ppl think of me. I only care about pleasing God. But I won’t be a slave to anyone anymore.
@@ChildofGodforevr do you feel better? I'm not sure what generated that response, but I assure you that I count it as a blessing to be able to cook and share good meals with family and friends. Everyone decides beforehand what each will bring, so that we can enjoy our time together. Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and the second is like it, to love your neighbor (which includes your family) as yourself. My hope, is that you will find His peace this Christmas. Blessings

I’m bringing one into my kitchen and replicate what I have just viewed.. who would’ve thought I could’ve taken eggs to the next level with tortillas.. I can have a different breakfast every day of the week. You cannot describe your presentations on this platform. They are exquisite and are on a level not accessible to any other cook, newbie, or professional.. Being a professional photographer, I am amazed how you can create these meals and present them to the public. There is no need for words ..The atmosphere with your music ..children’s voices are really exceptional. Keep them on hand. All of her ingredients store well. You can use chopped canned tomatoes if you don’t have fresh. Tortillas last forever.

Sophie, another edible work of Art. Is that a 14" HexClad hybrid pan ? The low side seems to make flipping easier. Not sure if 12" or 14" more practical.

I make breakfast burritos with the tortillas dipped in eggs, then add your favorites inside and lightly oil your cast iron and brown all around 😋😜 crispy and delicious! We make them every Christmas morning only because they are so so good and we make so many. Everyone knows we only get them once a year and we can all eat 3 or 4! 😂 you must try when you get a chance. We put inside: cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes and spam(or bacon, sausage whatever you prefer) oh and top with pico de gallo and sour cream!!!
