When I use canned tuna, I drain the salty water off, then I put tuna in my small colander, and hold it under the faucet with the cold water running over it. That gets rid of the salty water, & the heavy fishy canned taste. Then, I squeeze out the water with the back/bottom of the tuna can. I use only the solid white fish Albacore Tuna because of the mild taste. I also make a tuna loaf and bake a potato in the oven at the same time. Use the same ingredients as used for a salmon loaf. I use 3/4 cans of tuna for the loaf.

We call these Tuna Patties or you make with canned salmon, a good brand and we cake then Salmon Patties , and yes they both are delicious....
