Thank you so much for your garden tour showcasing your stunning rose collection. It’s truly something I look forward to. I too have had delays in getting roses that I ordered over a year ago from Grace Rose Farm… not afraid to say their name. I will never buy from them again. If the sum of us who’ve had delayed rose orders spoke publicly MAYBE they’d, as you said, hire more people. They’re earning interest on our money!!! I’m tired of it. I know this problem has hit other growers BUT Grace Rose Farm has endless excuses that only insult my intelligence… always a different excuse. Ok-rant over. You have introduced me to some varieties that I had not heard of and just purchased Star of Republic… cannot wait to grow this stunning Rose. Hope you get your voice back soon because it’s so soothing and excellent to hear while gushing on your beautiful garden!
I just posted the most beautiful pic of Star of the Republic on my Instagram account, you gotta go see! I still love Gracie-she introduced me to Max Sea which I will be forever grateful for, but they really have struggled big time in launching their rose bush business. No denying that and I’m amazed at how many people just gloss over it like it’s no big deal. I’ve learned my lesson to never preorder roses again. Thanks so much for watching and I’m so glad you enjoy the tours!❤
Greetings from Ireland, Great video and beautiful garden, We have one very old peony rose in the garden no thorns great we get along. My mother is eighty seven and she has lots of the dangerous thorny ones, I call down to her every weekend to look after her flower beds. I don't wear garden gloves when I'm gardening and there have been times when I weed around them I thought I'd end up in A&E. My mother tells me to wear gloves but do I listen no so I get what I deserve
I am new on your channel and roses ‘ world. I like your garden so much. I am in Ca zone 9. I have a clean backyard smaller than yours but I am planning to plant some climbing roses on pots for now. I am still learning about roses and listening and watching video from roses’ lovers. Thank you for showing your garden.
Love your garden and the roses 🥰 ! You choosed really nice composition with your flowers . Thanks for showing us! The big blue hosta maybe is Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' . I love the variation of different hostas a lot ! They a so perfekt for shady places . Greetings from the baltic sea coast of northern Germany 👋🏻
Good to know that I am not the only one got delayed shipment from Grace Rose Farm. I had my garden bed/terrace done in February in order to plant those exclusive "bare roots." Turns out not only shipping was delayed, instead of bare roots they are shipping containers 😔. I received one out of five orders. The plants are quite tiny (healthy though.) another issue they have is some of the roses are not up to their standards so will be further delayed until next year. They gave us few choices though...keep the order for next year plus a free rose and a grand gift certificate, replace with another available rose to ship now or just cancel it. I think they take up the responsibility very well so I am not mad, just a little disappointed with the circumstances. Oh well, good luck to all us 😊!
Yes I opted for a refund the second time around they delayed. Hopefully no more will be “no longer available this year” that’s what I was mainly worried about since 4 out of my order have been affected so far. Also it makes me uneasy how delivery dates keep getting pushed back. Won’t be doing that again!❤
Thanks for the tip on David Austin not doing well in the Georgia climate. I moved 2 DA Jubilee Celebration yesterday because they just look dead. I was so overjoyed when I purchased them. I hope they do better in this sunnier spot. I love your rose gardens. Thanks I live in Stonecrest, GA.
Beautiful rose collection, love your ever-changing garden. I always look forward to see your roses ever since I started growing them in my garden in the same zone.
Thanks so much for sharing! You just gave me a good idea that I should be treating my Madame Anisette and Olivia as climbers - because they do act like them in my climate. I'm in FL and they are extremely healthy, almost no black spot with little or no treatment, so I am happy with them. Now, I am gonna train them as climbers instead of keeping them as shrubs.
Beautiful garden you have !!! So I am not the only one who switch to Kordes roses .... I am in zone 3 Canada North .. and to much problem of black spot in my zone with David Austin rose with only few exception of them ...
OMG @31:00 I heard you say 80% of your DA roses die. That’s terrible. I too have spent a lot of money on them and this is my year 1 I’m so worried now that I too might lose them. Did the die because of the heat? Which zone are you in? I love your garden it’s very beautiful
I’m honestly not sure why they die! I can’t figure it out, but they just aren’t super healthy roses for me. They probably prefer the milder climates closer to the UK. We are very hot and humid and I used to be a zone 7 but now USDA changed us to zone 8. Kordes and Meilland perform 100x better for me.
@@summermoongarden oh no.. so sorry. I can relate to how disappointing that can be. I wish I had watched your video before spending so much on DA roses. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed. Just to try it out I did get a couple of summer romance and they are doing great for me. Roses stay on the plant for a while. Thanks much and enjoy your garden!
Love your videos so much! I only started collecting roses last year..Dreamland is on my bucketlist!.. What a beautiful rose! I have family in N. Georgia and have been there a few times..such a pretty place:)
You said you're done w/ DA roses. I'm waiting on a couple replacement BR roses from them. I wanted to see if they'd honor their generous 5-year warranty and THEY DID! I ordered 4 back in, I think, 2020, they arrived late May 2021. After the first winter (I'm in Minneapolis MN) one 'Queen of Sweden' and one 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' planted in a container didn't survive. Finally, I inquired about their warranty w/ photos of the dead roses. They asked a couple care questions then said I could order 2 replacements. They're out of Queen BR (I could have gotten a refund). I opted for and ordered 'Gabriel Oak'. I am expecting them today. 🤭
I hope they grow well for you! I have ordered replacements before, only for them to die again. Just my personal experience unfortunately. I know they grow very well for other gardeners!
I LOVE your Roses!!! The Deer eat my roses. Any idea on something I can do to keep them out of my yard? Thank you for sharing!! That Alchemist is a Knockout!!
I’m sorry you have to battle deer! I have no experience with that so I cannot help you there unfortunately! Maybe try growing in a protected space? Or in pots if you have a patio or deck?
How do you apply Max Sea.... also Im considering Madame Anisette ...thoughts on her ...thanks. The back garden looks so much better than a couple of years ago.
Thanks for sharing your garden! I did not know Alchemist was a one time bloomer (sad face) how long does it bloom for? Hope you feel better soon! blessings from Canada :)
They're looking beautiful! One question: The rose that you said was growing well (no flowers yet) that you called 'courage', was that actually 'courageous'? I was thinking of getting 'courageous' so I was just wondering?
Яка ж ви тільки молодець! Бо у вас все так прекрасно зроблено у вашому саду! Просто насолоджуюсь! 👏😍

You talked about "Cat's Pyjamas", and your cat appeared just in time.😊

Everything looks amazing. Love how the back turned out!!
Love watching your videos. Your garden is gorgeous. I am curious whether you spray or use a systemic for blackspot and pests?
Beautiful plant Nice blooming Wow 👍👍
Love the birds sounds❤
Gorgeous! I’m new to growing roses. Which would you say is your favorite and/or your healthiest climbing rose? Thanks.
Right now I’d say Dream Land is the winner! But Kiss Me Kate is also doing well.
Hi, I love your garden, your specially! You had mentioned the fertilizer you are using! Could you share again the name please!
Your roses look amazing and healthy, how do you take care of them ? Mine have lots of caterpillars and black spots

So stunning all your hard for is obvious 😊❤
Beautiful Garden 💓
Love your videos .
I like your spacing . Are they 1 foot from each other if more?
Thanks for sharing your garden! I did not know Alchemist was a one time bloomer (sad face) how long does it bloom for? Hope you feel better soon! blessings from Canada :)
I’d say 3-4 weeks! It’s so worth it!!❤
@@summermoongarden nice!
Question on your climbing rose: Did you have to climb up to train it on the arch or did the plant climb up on its own?
I am new to roses. How many months do they bloom for you? Do you have other plants to take over after that?
When do you first cut your roses back? Is it March or February for Georgia?
@@kellimcdonald4310 it’s usually fine to prune in either month but if it’s a warm winter/spring, February is best!
I have 4 roses from Costco hehe
Please add text labels of the roses. We older people cannot keep up.
I will do a video of pictures with the rose names attached for you! 💖💖Adding all the names in with an hour long video is quite a nightmare to edit!
They're looking beautiful! One question: The rose that you said was growing well (no flowers yet) that you called 'courage', was that actually 'courageous'? I was thinking of getting 'courageous' so I was just wondering?
No that must be a different rose. Here is the link to what I have: palatineroses.com/product/courage-rose/
What is moxie? A fertilizer? I haven't heard of it before
Max Sea fertilizer. You can get it on amazon. It’s expensive but so worth it, my roses bloom much bigger with more buds.
Thank you 😊
Wow peony so many buds
❤❤
❤❤❤
💚🌹👍
I heard it’s not good to have overhead watering on Roses… 🤷♀️
I’m just thankful to have irrigation in the back yard now, no more handwatering! Drip irrigation is much more expensive. ❤
I vote for Sweet Mademoiselle to fill the new front bed!!
I wish I could find several to do that!
Check your Lowe’s for Bloomables. I found them for $19.99!!
You shouldn't cut back alba roses. You probably cut off this year's blooms!
My peony only one bud ➕️ not sure gonna make it weather is back to 30s
It will be ok! They can handle cold weather!
